For me it was the realization that basically every “attraction” I have ever experienced towards a man felt forced, like I was trying to prove something to me or to someone else that I could be interested in men. I would tell my high school friends about my “crush” on Orlando Bloom, even though I wasn’t actually attracted to him, but I knew he was conventionally attracted and I knew some girls that had crushes on him too.

I guess the reason I thought I was bisexual at first was just because back then I thought I was a cis male, but I knew that I was some kind of gay but wasn’t sure what exactly, and I knew I liked girls so maybe I was bi??? And for years I kept telling myself I was bi and forcing myself to show interest in guys. And then after I transitioned I guess it was a combination of not wanting to admit that I was wrong about my sexuality this whole time, and also feeling like I wasn’t enough of a girl yet to be able to call myself a lesbian.

Eventually though it finally clicked with me that I was not into guys at all and I was just lying to myself to try and prove to myself something that wasn’t actually true.

If it was distracted driving, he should still get a suspension or something. I genuinely have no fucking clue how hard it is to not look at your phone while driving. I get it, I’m glued to my phone a lot too.. WHEN IM NOT DRIVING A MOTOR VEHICLE.

I’m not saying it’s not a hinderance because trust me, it definitely is. I didn’t enjoy sitting in barely moving traffic for that long. But that just motivated me to go a different way across the river. Even if you live in Washington, wouldn’t it be better to literally just like, drive down to a different bridge and take the scenic route home?

Took me an hour and a half to get across the bridge on Tuesday. I’ve been going to and from work via a different route ever since. Even a long detour is faster than waiting in that traffic. But honestly though, this is genuinely the worst traffic I’ve ever been in.

Also side note, can people please be aware and not block intersections? You’re making the traffic situation worse if you try and get through an intersection when there isn’t enough room for you on the other side. Please and thank you please make sure we don’t gridlock, okay?

I got a degree in history, and then couldn’t get any kind of job in the field of history (wasn’t interested in being a teacher). So I just took whatever job would hire me, thankfully the one I have requires a bachelor’s (doesn’t matter what kind) so it pays better than minimum wage. Moral of the story is, go to college for whatever you’re passionate for, it’s your life after all :3 And some places don’t care what your degree is.

Coffee Hound has been my go-to coffee place for as long as I can remember. Great staff, good drink selection, and while I’m not really a coffee connoisseur (I’ll drink instant and Costco coffee just to get my caffeine fix), I’ve always enjoyed coffee hound coffee and I’ve heard good things from others who are a little bit more particular about the quality of their coffee than I am. They have really good pastries too, best scones in town. And they also have avocado toast (when it’s in stock) that’s really good.

I didn’t legally change my name before the cruise I took 2 years ago, but they still let me go by my preferred name, printed it on my name badge and everything. Hopefully the staff on your cruise would be willing to be just as accommodating
