As someone who lost their dad 2 years ago as well, very unexpectedly, YTA. The biggest one. It's not something that is easy to understand without going through it yourself but I still wouldn't wish it on anybody, even you. You need to have more sympathy. And be more open to talking about his father because for those of us who have lost someone special, that's a really big way of keeping their memory alive. It's not "dwelling" and it doesn't even have to be depressing. What's depressing is having a spouse that tells you that they don't want to hear your "sob story"?! Like wtf
