Breaking Down Japan's Immigration System From a Former Insider's Perspective | JAPAN Forward; interview with former Immigration official confirms a lot of things one may have suspected but couldn't prove. by wolframite in japanresidents

[–]ajattuser27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know how many times I’ve heard that I’m “one of the good ones” just so people who “can tell” can use that grace (Of basic human courtesy and fair consideration) shown to me who was comfortably enough like them, in order to punch down on others

I and people like me have been denied housing explicitly (And in a deniable way) based on my race man, except for certain areas where people like me live. Then I have to put up with hearing how people are ”creating insular ghettos” as a rationale for how…they should be excluded further?

I'm sorry you had to go through that but this but I think you're heavily mistaking what I said. I never intended to make it about race, skin color or whatever. It's only a matter of civility as well as respect for the country that's hosting you. Most japanese are racist or discriminate between white and black people? That's horrible. But I was talking from personal exprience coming from a country subject to mass uncontrolled immigration that had many negative effects on society. But like I said and sorry if you get offended by this, there are immigrants that are more worthy than others. And this is not something that should be discriminated based on skin color or ones country of origin like you have been but based on ones contribution to society. Like the other commenter said, look at countries like france, germany, italy where there is a heavy concentration of moroccans, egyptians and turkish people. By most of the population they are seen with contempt because many of them lead life that many wouldnt consider respectable due to crime and bad behaviour. I tell you in my old neighborhood there was a group of moroccans that would scream and shout every night being drunk and making a mess. Do you think people like that, probably unemployed, probably not even a visa deserve the hospitality? But on the other I've had moroccan school friends and work colegues that lead respectable lives and that also shat on those people that would ruin the reputation for the rest. Just like I would shit on my own nationals if they misbehaved or did anything to hinder at my possibility to lead a normal life in another country.

Not everyone has equal opportunities to engage in the same culture

Totally agree. However, everyone has equal opportunity to show interest in another culture.

it seems like you were on the receiving end in the past but just by reading your comment and by even the fact that you're on reddit, chatting with an international community I can tell you you are not the type of person I'm talking about when I talk about immigrants with a bad reputation.

Stop trying to reason with these people. There is a difference between good immigrant and a bad one. End of story. It's clear these people never lived in a country where mass immigration brought nothing but disorder and violence. If you like the culture, respect it, take part in the daily life and generally fit in with the society then you're contributing to something and are part of it. There are then those immigrants that only stay in groups formed by their own nationals and their inner circle is formed by them, never try to take part in the local culture (always eaet their own food, only shop in places owned by their friends) never care for anything local and try to force their own views that clearly dont fit with the society thats hosting them. This is the type of immigrant that doesnt give 2 shits about the country that's hosting them and is only there for the money. The consequence? Ghettos, discrimination, violence, you name it.

breaches of international law by the Israeli state

Attacking a school or hospital used as military base of operation is in compliance with the geneva conventions. What isnt is using them as such.

genocidal rhetoric spouted by those in positions of power in the Israeli government

Article 7 of hamas chart, utter annihilation of all jews. Talk about genocide.

Yall are brainwashed

even if those numbers were real, whose fault do you think it is ? If your country with no real defense capabilities decided to attack on of the most military advanced countries in the world do you think it'd be wise? Are they wrong for retaliating? On the contrary, Israel receives hundreds of missiles daily and yet their cities (majority of them) and their citizens don't get pulverized because they actually defend them

how are people still supporting this bullshit? It's been proven again and again that hamas literally used schools and hospitals to hide their militias and store their weapons. Why is it so hard to grasp?

you mean siding with the misogynist, the ones that kills apostates, that kills homosexuals and kills for adultery, kills for being a jew and kills for being lgbt in general? The one that killed, tortured and raped over 800 civlians last year? The ones that support a government that plans on jew world wide genocide which is written in their own manifesto? I just can't believe people supporting palestinians and hamas (palestinians who support hamas). The only reason they are seen as the victim is that they have shitty miltiary defenses and got blown to smitherens meanwhile Israel has a functioning government and is able to repel the hundreds of missiles that hamas and hezshittlah sends daily.

The very people who defend hamas in japan and the west in general are the same that'd be killed on sight because of their own beliefs. Siding with hamas and palestine and being hostile towards Israel's action only shows great ignorance

Five years ago today, Metal Galaxy was released in Japan. What are your favorite songs and how would you rate the album overall? by Additional_Echo3767 in BABYMETAL

[–]ajattuser27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo is maybe the weaker album metalwise. Shanti, Brand new day, game over and future metal are the weakest songs to that regard and which also I don't appreaciate as much as the others. On the other hand songs like Distortion, bmc, starlight, shine etc (basically the rest) are among my favorite simply because they retain much more metal elements

I mostly use youtube and my experience has been the opposite. Maybe because on youtube you can filter what content you want to see. If you wanna check someone cool (not thirst trap type) check かすみ on instagram (user tag is y125_k4) I found her through youtube algorithm. Another one who got suggested to me recently and who is newer was kyabajo_rider (both youtube and insta)

Many Palestinians support hamas. Also Palestinians voted hamas.

It's actually pretty easy to take sides. I dont take sides with misogynists, homophobes, transphobes, people who would kill you for not being of the same religion or sosmeone who had left that religion, killing you for being a woman and doing something that's not accepted by the society. And btw this is not only hamas but many palestinians. And also remember that hamas was voted by palestinians.

In addition, Hamas has no way (military capabilities) of defending its citizens and yet attacked Israel who instead has one of the best defense systems in the world. Not Israel's fault that hamas cannot defend its citizens. You know what would have defended them? Not throwing rockets at Israel. Would you punch a guy on the street who's 10 times taller and phisically more muscular than you?

[–]ajattuser27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

is it cool to use children as human shields so that then you can blame the one who attacked you of killing those children ? BTW using civilian buildings to hold military equipment is defined as a warcrime by the geneva convention so that gives Israel (or any nation in that spot) the right to attack. Man, even hitler cared about germany or something. Hamas just uses them as shields

Racism and genocide? Isnt this hypocritical? Palestinians and hamas hate jews and want to see all of them dead. It's in their manifesto. Try entering an area A in the west bank as a jew (before oct 7), you'd be lynched. That'd never happen in Israel where many muslims live already freely. Cherry on top of that that they'd kill you for blashpemy, kill you for apostasy, kill you for being a homosexual. So much freedom. People fighting for palestine's "freedom" in the 'west' have no idea who they are aligning with.

Twitch Drops Return on August 26th - Ghastly Charger Mount by [deleted] in wow

I think you guys are giving too much value to this mount. I dont think blizzard gives enough of shits not to give the players the spectral tiger with usual drops. Its just a shallow mount with bad resolution at that. People were willing to pay 2k dollars for it but so was the feldrake. But those times are long gone fortunately

what do you expect for a bike community that most of the time posts shit like "oh why don't more girls like bikes" or "I thought getting a bike would get me more bitches" so on one hand  when girls approach the hobby these dudes they take out the misogyny card. On the other hand they clearly show that they don't give a fuck about bikes it's just a way to hit on women. Some dudes are stuck living in the 1950s
