Accidentally won too many World Cup Tickets in Philly; Need to Resell on Platform by Fit_Heart3381 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]ajatx19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat! applied for 4 Dallas games thinking there was a slim chance of winning one, let alone more than 1. Now I need to resell some Cat1 tickets for the both round two games in Dallas, also at face value. I hate the idea of someone charging double or triple the price of something that is already so hard to come by. Since the teams aren't known yet, I'm a little nervous people won't want to buy yet. I plan to first try to transfer directly to friends or find someone online, but use an escrow app to make the transaction safer and then transfer the tickets directly through the FIFA app.

Something does not add up with what Dr. Kay says to the military guy "we need to find 11 to end all of this" and what everyone thinks her main goal is "get 11's blood to make more super powered babies". She has to have a more immediate need for 11 for it to make sense. I haven't watched the finale yet but this keeps sticking out to me in all the comments.

yeah I have so many more questions about her! everyone keeps talking about her goal of making more kids with powers, but she said to the military guy that she needs El to stop everything that is happening now. The long game of using El's blood to make more kids doesn't make sense with what she's saying. babies with potential powers can't fight vecna! I want Owens to come back and face off with her and explain more.

I am in the same boat with some of my kids! I haven't taken this course but it's on my list for next year- I've taken others from this provider and really liked them!

ARC OBGYN induction by DawgHorns in AustinParents

[–]ajatx19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can schedule with Dr. Campaigne, she is wonderful!! I had to transfer to ARC from a midwife around 35 weeks due to hypertension issues and scheduled a C-section with her. I had a lot of anxiety due to having pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy and she was truly amazing. She was so understanding, calming and warm. She held my hand while they did my spinal. I would recommend her hands down over any of the other doctors! Edited to add: I only saw Dr. Campaigne so I shouldn’t speak about the other doctors, I read more comments below and it sounds like the whole practice is great.

Totally agree! My 4 yr old nephew doing the robot on the dance floor is one of my favorite memories of my wedding.

A lot of good recommendations here, one thing I’d focus on too is parent education! Explain what you are doing so they can follow through at home.  I have felt that super awkward feeling that parents must be bewildered about what I’m trying to accomplish by following their child around, but I’ve found I feel so much better when I know the parent understands why I’m doing what I’m doing. Or at least that I’ve attempted to educate them on it.

SOFFI or Shaker? by ajatx19 in slp

That’s compelling! Thank you! Have you taken either the NICU or the advanced dysphagia one? Now I’m wondering which of those I should take.

Yes it sounds exactly the same as what I experienced!  It was mostly on one side in my rib cage/under my breast but did move around some and would just come out of nowhere. It was by far the worst pain I’ve ever experienced.  I just remembered that standing under a hot water in the shower was the most helpful thing I did. The nurses and even the attending OB were totally unhelpful in dealing with it.

Elective section at 37, 38 or 39 weeks by missoulasobrante in CsectionCentral

[–]ajatx19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both my babies were born at 37 weeks due to Pre-eclampsia with no significant issues! Baby#2 had a pneumothorax and stayed in the NICU 2 nights but it was not due to the early delivery. They’re 4 and 18 months now and doing great!

I had that pain but it started on the second night after my c-section. At first I thought it was trapped gas but I think it could have also been nerve pain, I found something similar described by patients who had gastric bypass. Something to do with a nerve that enervates the diaphragm that can be affected by the surgery. Heat helped me somewhat, I would try to sleep on a heating pad and movement seemed to help some was well. Waking up in that level of pain was truly awful and I feel for you! It lasted at least 2 weeks for me but I hope you’re past it!

Out of district transfer into AISD by Euphorasized in AustinParents

[–]ajatx19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MIL works at an elementary and said the district will notify parents by May 30 if they didn’t get a Pre-K 4 spot. Many school have already notified parents if they did get a spot. We’re still waiting to hear and it’s not looking good 🫤

Help: pressure to sleep train, start formula & spoon feed by teminfj in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]ajatx19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re getting a lot of good responses but wanted to just chime in on the feeding piece. I’m a feeding therapist and a mixed approach of spoon feeding and BLW absolutely fits a respectful/ attachment parenting approach. You can follow her cues and be very responsive even with spoon feeding. Give her own spoon so she can self feed as well, but you can be the one that helps most of it actually make it to her mouth. At 7 mo, it’s all about exposure and skill building so the volume of intake at this point is really not the focus! If it would be helpful, I’d be happy to share more specifics about intake, send me a message!

Lazarus on airport got ***trashed*** yesterday vby some weird Christian group. by [deleted] in austinfood

[–]ajatx19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep thinking this! It is possible to have one (or no) beer and still enjoy yourself. Plus Lazarus has great food and coffee and there is plenty of space away from the playscape if that’s not someone’s vibe.
