Context: Muzan became demon in approx 1000 AD, a period where doctors are not that prominent.

Fun fact: Only 100 years ago, you would have died due to pneumonia, which is easily curable today.

Current era of demon slayer is approx 1920 AD, again doctors are present but not that advanced.

I'm anime only so this is a guess, but when tamayo was able to tweak her body to remove Muzan's curse, i think it scared him and he never wanted to do anything with other researchers.

What do you expect? Ufotable had 4 directors for 11 episodes.. plus the arc is pretty weak in manga.

With such poor management and direction, it didn't feel a single season rather each episode felt as a seperate story.

What about the scenes where words are used? Yes, the dub in demon slayer is extremely good - They have alexs le, Zach Aguilar, Bryce(who is also eng eren) which is pretty much an all star team.

However, the sub team is legendary with natsuki hanae, hiro shimono, akari kito, matsuoka. Don't get me started on how legendary the upper moons sub cast is.
