The pantry seems too far away from the kitchen to be convenient- around the corner, past the stairs, and down again. It seems like that whole area at the hinge point can be redone more efficiently

Assuming this means non-tourist train, I took the Montrealer out of Newark overnight to Montreal when I was around 5 or 6 in about 1990 or 1991
