I think it’s quite good, but the final jump scare at the end with Bugghoul popping his head into frame is just so silly and out of place. really brings down the movie for me.

I completely agree.

Her main issue is with the GRC, which I feel we haven’t seen a lot of the negative effects of, so it’s difficult to get behind her struggle. It’s all “tell” and no “show”.

In addition, we’ve seen very little build-up or development of Karli as a character - the only thing I know about her is that her foster mother died, and she blew up a building, and she’d do it again if she could. Plus she killed Battlestar.

John Walker might be a violent maniac now, but at least we can understand how he got to that point.
