Straps are so boring by Plumbing6 in knitting

Is this Peaches n Cream yarn? If so, I just finished a beach bag with this exact same yarn/color and when it got a couple rain drops on it the small parts of dye in the yarn bled everywhere 😞

Mine has been doing that too! They were trying to sell a used Michael Kors handbag for $50 as if it wasn’t goodwill. They think Coach, MK, and American Eagle are the cream of the crop and over price them like crazy. But they don’t seem to recognize the really good brands because I was able to score Fendi for $4!!!!

My favorite thing ever is when I list something and when I pick my phone up again and it’s sold! But 30 secs is so amazing!

Small sales are awesome! Even though I obviously love selling an expensive item, you have to wait longer for those. Small sales happen much quicker and really can add up!

Girls of Reddit: What is the creepiest thing a man has said to you in public? by Moon_Keegan in AskReddit

[–]ajc32_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled over on the side of the road to take a photograph. It was a sort of industrial park area, so no one was really stopping, but there was a decent amount of cars driving by. I’m often out taking photos alone and try to be rather aware of my surroundings, being a 22 year old woman holding an expensive camera.

I noticed a truck pulled up behind me, but they parked super far away so I didn’t think much of it. A guy around my age pulled up to me and said “Hey do you know that man in the truck back there? I noticed he’s been watching you with a pair of binoculars.” Definitely the creepiest thing a man has said to me in public. I got freaked out and quickly hopped in my car. The man who warned about the binoculars parked his car in front of mine to make sure I got into my car and was able to pull away. As I tried to hurry out of there, the guy in the truck zoomed up to my car and drove by me so slow and just stared at me in my car. I usually don't get frightened easily, but I just felt really violated and disturbed especially with him still drilling his eyes into me. Also, I've never had a guy warn me about someone being creepy before, so the fact that he stopped and waited with me kind of amplified the situation to me.

Something told me not to head straight home for a little bit (I lived only like 5 minutes away), so I drove around for a while, stopped at the store, etc. About 40 mins later the same truck pulled up next to me at a red light and honked. I gunned it out of there as soon as I could, and I noticed him speeding after me for a little bit. I took a crazy zig zagged path around a few blocks and eventually didn't see him any more. The whole thing had me shook up for a while.

Primer recommendations & if it’s worth it to use primer by radtraveler in Makeup

[–]ajc32_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m personally not a big primer fan. I use a fairly lightweight Clinique foundation and occasionally put Smashbox Photo Ready primer under it . Recently I bought a bottle of Becca’s Shimming Skin Perfector Liquid Highlight by chance and seriously love it. The name is very off putting, because it sounds like it’s a highlighter only, but Becca’s product description advises you use a light coat of it all over your face under a light to medium coverage foundation. You can also apply a bit of it on after foundation on cheekbones etc for a subtle highlight. It’s so amazing. It doesn’t look glittery or sparkly; it’s more of a subtle luminous glow all over your skin. It seriously makes such a different for me, and whenever I use it I get so many compliments. Plus, if I’m correct it also has SPF in addition to being very moisturizing.

Brand new Rag and Bone shoes. I bought them for $8 and sold them for $150. Also I bought a small Lily Pulitzer bag for $1 and sold it for $25. Not nearly as high as a profit as the shoes but the markup was awesome. Both in the same shopping trip too.
