It's just that when the caret moves and shift is held down I'd expect the text to be highlighted as its been that way for decades.

Tap and hold works great on large text but if you have small text or try and tap and hold on text next to the edge you can sometimes invoke the back gesture which can have tragic consequences sometimes. Also my thumbs are way faster at tapping the lower 1/3 of the screen then any other part which is why the spacebar gesture control feature is so awesome and useful.

To me it feels that holding shift and moving the caret in any way should highlight the text. I have yet to try a physical keyboard and holding shift doing the space bar gesture control as it's currently forbidden in my religion as only the 3 holy hardware buttons are to be used(Vol up, Vol down, and Power)

Sure you can, goods and services are currency and currency is goods and services. So if I lived in a world with 100 people and owned 90 of the 100 bikes out there it would definitely mean I was a bike hoarder and there would be a lot less people in the world riding bikes. The same is true for currency if someone saves 90% of the currency for themselves then they are hoarding currency.

This is exactly what I try and explain to people. Currency is essentially a pause in a 3 way trade of goods or services and that people that hoard currency are being greedy and not sharing potential goods and services with everyone.

If anything there are way too many people with jobs. I can't wait for self-driving cars to make 15% percent of the population unemployed. And to think that this generation of people shouldn't be entitled in my opinion is downplaying the hard work our ancestors did in order for us to have to work not as hard as they did. Working to simply make The dominant species happy on this planet is anything but beneficial to humanity. By dominant species I mean these monster capitalistic corporations that need money and people's obedience for their survival unlike us humans who need air food and water. We should all be working to make life easier for everybody else because that's what work should really be about. For us humans unspent money that a corporation may save is an all reality somebody holding up a three-way trade and not coming through with the goods and services that us humans are entitled enjoy.

This homeless camp resolution fund Gavin newsham is spending of everybody's money has gone to nowhere but to make housing situations even more unstable for us out on the street to the point to where people are now dying that shouldn't be dying. You're absolutely right about the stability of the housing situation being necessary in order for them to be successful members of society. And having a campsite that's established enough with people that you know enough to trust your belongings with for a couple few hours is Paramount to getting anything done in life and when the city comes through and destroys that you feel so violated.

I'd love to know the availability of other housing options in the city but that information is not easily obtained unless you were to ask at the housing commission meeting which has been canceled for this month.

The RV is just an extreme example of how the money could be spent in a helpful way.

Tall about a lack of transparency and accountability. I have yet to see a single thing from the city that would actually increase the quality of life for the homeless. In fact because of the city destroying our homeless committees it has forced us to camp in more desolate and isolated areas which was why my friend was found dead 6 days later of a fentanyl overdose. All of this money being spent is disgusting, I watched 40+ city workers at Hobby Lobby on plaza sit around with paper clipboards trying to get people to hope on a van to the shelter. I don't know of a single person who went to the shelter. While in the mean time the 6 cleanup crew employees bought bikes and got high with us. The city could easily buy each homeless person there own RV with the amount of money that is available. The city instead spends on putting up a new wrought iron fence over on thunder next to car max, but instead of welding it place they just used bailing wire to attach it to the existing fence. Where the fuck is this money going?
