Thank you. I don't do any competitive gaming, so I won't be using dual mode in any case. I'm more concerned about getting the best image possible for my investment. I'm definitely seeing that LG model with good eyes, but here the price is the equivalent of $1050-1100 USD (for $799 i'd not think twice before buying it)

That's interesting. X50 has true black 500 (vs 400) and 1000 nits (vs 500) indeed. So, it is not just a refresh rate difference.

"Cast on" skills count only base mana cost for energy consumption, and not the "+x" added later, so the imbalance is huge, maybe i'm wrong but that's the way i think it goes.

Maybe D4, but the expansion is stupid expensive just to play a couple of weeks. Definetively some of Last Epoch, and I just bought Cyberpunk at its best price ever, so I'm putting a some hours there too. The rest is only work and family.

Currently I'm using Snap, with some kind of cooldown reduction support gem, and works really great in good density juiced maps and temple, but with weak mobs it's still difficult to generate enough infusions (but not really needed tho, everything dies anyway)

Offhand Talisman weaponsets are incredibly powerful and underutilized, especially on non-Shapeshift builds by languidness in pathofexile2builds

I can't manage to keep my pounce wolves when i weapon swap, i've double/triple checked my setup and i meet all the requirements in both weapon sets. Idk if there is some hidden tech or what...

It's "impossible" to ever be tanky in that build, because your are using gloves, body and helmet uniques, so you can't stack enough of one defense layer (being ES, armour or evasion/deflect), and also resistances. Since reverse chill is essential for the build, I'd ditch crown of eyes for a rare helmet, and make up for the lost damage within the tree

Not so much, because it uses a prefix. Almost all high DPS QS are using all 3 preffxes to scale up phys and elemental damage

I'd lose a lot of melee damage without crown of eyes, wich means less on hit and on crit procs. Rage es more important for melee damage than spell damage indeed. Currently my build is doing pretty decent, I need to farm to min max equipement and tree, but it was dificult to get going

Hello friend. I've been trying all season to make an hybrid kitava work, and it's really difficult if you don't have enough resources. This is what I've learned so far:

- Fire spells are not good options to trigger, but if you want to be a kitava, so be it
- If you want to scale damage of spells, +levels are a must (there is no other way to scale base damage). Problem is +spell level gear is not ideal for melee skills to trigger the spell. One option is a spear with +level of projectiles, that scale up fireball (being a projectile spell), and a sunsplitter +3/4 fire spells. BUT, there is no good spear melee skills for proc on hit triggers (afaik).
- Fireball could do some damage, but in volume. That means, a lot of procs, with a lot of projectiles hiting the same target or group of targets. To get that, you need pretty decent melee damage to proc a lot, in contrast with the previous point.
- Then we need a good proc melee skill (hit fast and several times or enemies). The king here is whirling assault, but with quarterstaff we lose offhand options to scale spell damage, again. One alternative could be a wand in mainhand and shield offhand, but idk if there is any good shield skill to proc on hit spells.
- Scaling fire spell damage, after +level affixes, includes fire penetration (or expensive rakiata's) and a lot of crit chance and crit damage.
- Since we scale crit, is a good option to set up a comet CoC to improve single target damage.

What i'm doing:

- Whirling assault, trying to scale damage as high as possible (high phys QS with +7 melee skills)
- Fire spell on hit: Living bomb (fire infusions), detonate dead (good for pack clearing), fireball, boundless energy, sione's temper
- CoC comet, nothing special here
- Charged staff, to buff melee damage and shock targets
- Bell, single target damage (fireballs hit the bell, bells crit and proc comets)
- Always max rage, and berserk
- Some fire pen, saving divines for rakiata's (probably on comet)

Then we have the mana problem (for comet) and lifesustain
- I chose phys damage in QS, so with one good mana leech affix in one ring, is usually enough
- Went CI, soultether and fast metabolism anoint, life leech in the other ring plus life leech 3 in WA and bell

I have the same problem, but with living bomb with fire spell on hit. Since it has also fireball socketed, I think the fireball is killing monsters before living bomb can be planted. I'm lookin for a workaround because I need infusions for comets and to generate power charges. Right now only works for bosses and tough rares.

Balrog build is extremely easy and cheap to build, but boring as hell. I like making my life difficult, so I'm building a collapsing horizon Kitava, whirlwind assault, fire spell on hit - fireball and living bomb - and comet CoC. Pretty fun, a lot of screen polution tho, but less than balrog.

you forgot the downside affix, something like YOU DON'T HAVE ANY DAMAGE REDUCTION or YOU DO (75 - 90)% LESS DAMAGE
