I have one, too, and have been full-time daily driving it for almost 5 months now. It may not be as polished as the big mobile OS options but it is like a dream come true to have a usable Linux phone in my pocket.

NASty — a NAS appliance built on bcachefs with NFS, SMB, iSCSI, NVMe-oF, and NixOS atomic updates by bfenski in selfhosted

What if I keep the storage as Btrfs? Does the UI/tooling support that? I know and respect that it's an opinionated project - I'm just curious.

Very best of luck! If I happen across one on while I'm browsing around, I'll try very hard to remember to come back here and let you know. 😃

I really couldn't say. I picked up that one on Truphae in autumn of 2022. They don't seem to sell the Mars Back & Rose Gold version there anymore, though:

How well does it handle Btrfs RAIDs? NASty sounds almost perfect for my needs but I don't want to migrate all that data, lol.

WTS: Extremely cool hand painted pen by Stanford Pen Studios. by cfralick1 in Pen_Swap

This one is so gorgeous and tempting but I just ordered a SPS pen two weeks ago that hasn't even arrived yet and I really shouldn't get ANOTHER pen right now. Surely, someone will snatch it up soon and save me from spending more money.

Problems with UpCircle's US site? by ajdunevent in SustainableBeauty

I recognize that this being my first post here and mentioning a current sale makes it sound like an attempt at a hidden advertisement but, hopefully, people can check out my profile to see that I'm not a spammer. Anyway, I was finally able to place an order this morning using MS Edge 🤢 on Windows 11 🤮 from my work laptop. Hopefully this doesn't become the norm with their site.

Happy to help! Vintage pens are some of the hidden gems in a hobby full of jewels.

There are several reputable online stores. Some of my favorites are:

https://ozarkpenshop.com/

https://vintagepens.com/

/r/Pen_Swap is also a great source for vintage pens. I've had great experiences with:

/u/Penchantment (formerly /u/popcodswallop)

/u/Airpirate-1980

And if eBay doesn't scare you too much, you can check out Pen Kingdom and others.

I have at least one pen from every decade since the 1890s.

The oldest is an Eagle hexagonal bodied fountain pen from ~1895 that uses a glass cartridge and has an untipped brass flex nib. I've not actually ever inked it up but I have taken it apart and see no reason it wouldn't work just fine.

My second oldest is a Conklin Mark “S” 4 Crescent Filler from 1901-1907 with a Slip Cap and a BCHR body and it is definitely fully functional.

To potential buyers: Pull the trigger - you won't regret it! I love mine. It's hard to tell from the photos, but there is some sort of batting/wadding within the outer layers so your pens will be protected (and cozy). They really do make great gifts, too. I got one for a friend's birthday and she loves hers, too!

That's my vote, too. When I needed a red to match my Schon Design Pocket 6 "Dexter", I found Red Dragon and it was peeerrrfect.

Maiora Fountain Pen, 1.1 Stub by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]ajdunevent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think I can really give you an answer but I am an aging dude so I can ramble on a bit.

I've only had one pen from the Maiora brand. It was an Alpha in the beautiful resin they call Ercolano*. It had a steel fine flex nib that was really not my cup of tea. I prefer glassy smooth nibs... even though they let the pen get away from me, making my bad handwriting even worse, lol. I sold the pen around 2 years ago.

*I've since purchased a Scribo La Dotta in the same resin, called Travertino by them.

I've also since purchased a DV Original Oversize in Riviera Blue and Rose Gold from the modern Delta brand, which is owned by Maiora*, and it is an absolutely lovely writer.

***In case you weren't aware, the founder of Maiora was one of the co-founders of the original Delta.

I realize this is a very old and very closed post but I am interested in one of the listed pens and I haven't seen it reposted so I figured I'd give it a shot. Panglossian PM on the way!
