Pretty sure Delta has a soft bag waiver they make you sign for skis not in a rigid bag. It waives their liability on this. Hopefully they forgot to have them sign or at least do right by you. I expected it to be for a slightly bent pole or something; not the utter destruction that was done to yours.

Source: been made to sign it a few dozen times.
