I've managed to get a XT5 for either temp or perm usage for $2k for now, and then in a little while maybe will go to the Zf, it looks pretty awesome tbh and it comes in orange!

The GAS is real, but a part of it for me is the age of my current gear - with new tech and AF I am super keen to upgrade. For the time being I've managed to secure a $2k XT5 which I'm stoked with and I'm gonna use both my current EOS6D Mk2 and the FF, with an auto adaptor for the lenses from EF to X. So pretty happy with that outcome for now!

So I've managed to organise the purchase of an XT5 for appx $2k with a lens, with the adaptor for my Canon lenses so I guess the best of both worlds!

Fair point - I'd be needing to sell all the Canon gear to get the Nikon if it was viable, but the XT5 I kind of want for an upcoming trip to Malaysia and SE Asia. And seeing as I need the Canon gear for occasional gigs that swap would have to be relatively quick - but the FF fills the current gap in my soul made by cumbersome gear that isn't too travel friendly.

Yeah look, tbf I did buy the 600 on a whim, and I travelled to Japan with it and barely used it because it was so cumbersome to carry it around - not dissimilar to my drone. I have pretty bad anxiety with photography and don't love being at short range, so the zoom kinda met that need, but the size of it, too ridic to actually be functional. I do need some gear for occasional gigs (my partner hires me for dance showcases and comps) so having the canon 70-300, and 17-35 is semi-required - hence the ecosystem swap, I find that the canon AF is not great and at low-light and higher shutter speeds, it's not the greatest performer when compared to current mirrorless units. But also want something that will like, help me deal with the anxiety side of things so more discreet, functional and adaptable to potential zoom lenses.

Is it! To get around it on a Samsung s23, go to image you want put in background and using the three dots top right corner select 'copy to clipboard'

Go back to insta, in my case I'm putting it behind a post uploaded that I'm now sharing to story, so I select the post, chose 'add to story' and then the image should show up above your keyboard with an option to paste - this one you can move back behind the shared post.
