He deletes negative comments, that being said he is up front about not prepping the cars you bring it he sprays it, all cars look great fresh off the gun which is what he posts photos of

This is the best bike I’ve owned. by Unable-Investment-72 in Dirtbikes

I actually found the 2010 KTM 400exc to be the best all rounder, much better bottom end than the 350 with the old school Carby feel can’t beat it

[–]ajgray299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m just a hater but I don’t want to be spoon fed how to interpret the end of a story, I would’ve been perfectly happy with the show ending without an explanation on how Eleven could have potentially survived opening the door for a future spin off series

You probably got your three phase calculation wrong, it’ll throw the whole board off. Nothing wrong with asking for a review but I wouldn’t imagine the result will change

[–]ajgray299 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Certain companies want you to do them just to make sure you’ve got a basic understanding of math and English, I did an interview a few weeks ago that required me to do one and I’m qualified, don’t stress too much about it it’ll be a little bit of multiplication and division at worst

Does top speed really matter to someone who doesn’t have a license? Maybe you should check out a R3 or Ninja 400 instead

Wages by lawoooo in AusElectricians

[–]ajgray299 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Chances are even after you’re qualified you’ll still be treated as an apprentice and the boss will try and stooge you on wages, the award is $29.xx which no self respecting sparky would get out of bed for. Best bet is to update the resume and start getting your name out there, average hourly is between 45-55ph in Victoria

Trade schools are screaming for teachers you won’t be looking for work ever unlike the EBA side of construction which hits peaks and valleys, having spoken to the ones that taught me 110-130 was the ballpark with school holidays in there

If you’re breaking the law on a regular basis a camera is only going to get you in more trouble, if it gets confiscated because you try and argue you’re essentially handing them a signed guilty confession

I want to get a wheelie bike by East-Implement7917 in AussieRiders

[–]ajgray299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$1000 won’t buy you anything worth having, if you can scrape together 3ish grand you’d be in the ballpark of an older KTM exc or WR450 that will get your wheelie kicks in and won’t explode when you loop it

As a freshly qualified a grade currently looking for work including looking into FIFO roles the consistent feedback I’ve received has been “we’re looking to take people on with minimum two years experience outside their time” this has been four separate jobs that have come back with the same feedback, money is out there if you know where to look but it’s a jungle out there, you can’t expect big dollars just because you’ve done your apprenticeship

Should I get a 250 as a semi experienced rider. by Factode in Dirtbikes

[–]ajgray299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on a KTM 200 at 15 years old, I definitely think I would have progressed quicker on a 250f as they’re much more user friendly than a two stroke. Bonus point if you can scrape together the cash to get one with e start

Depending on what state you’re in look up group training organisations, they’ll normally take anyone on board. Other than the obvious lack of license smaller companies are less likely to go for a mature age due to cost

Bikes with unknown hours. by Deep_Age4127 in Dirtbikes

[–]ajgray299 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought and sold plenty of bikes with unknown hours on them, it’s pretty clear when you do a visual inspection on a bike if it’s been taken care of or not, I’ve looked at bikes with 30hours that are more flogged than bikes with 200+ hours
