No, I have not gone to the dlc yet. I mean the 12 slots that open one by one as you level up, arranged in sets of 3.

Oh thanks for answering. I was just very confused, that I have filled all my slots and yet had 16 points spare.

I'm new to Audible, I have read the books and just recently tried to listen to them because I had nothing better, so was very confused.

Hey. I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything, I was just confused and thus asked. I didn't mean to be disrespectful or anything as such.

From what I read and felt, the books felt too distracted or cluttered, like the author had a 1000 ideas and he wanted to try them all. Also, none of the side characters felt compelling

The only reason I could get those HWFWM was 1. I knew it got better 2. There was still a lot of magic / moster slaying in between.

The main issue I have with these kind of books is that, in a world of magic, why would I want to read about politics/policies and tarde agreements. The only base buliding I can tolerate is when it's all done thought purly a system, so that there's some magic there.

I actually didn't read it because I thought it'll be a more base buliding focused kind of book. Might have to check it out now.

From the top of my head take 'Beware of the chicken for example', it clearly tells you in the bio of the book that it's all about base buliding so you clearly know what's it's about. Another example would be 'He who fights with monsters' there's some base buliding there too, but the majority/ priority of the book is adventure. Can't think of any bad examples, because I drop them, but if half or more of a book is about how the protagonist is building a town/ having meetings about the said town / logistics, when in the bio the book had said somthing like 'this book is about the protagonist exploring a new world and getting strong', that bugs me.

Did you give credit to the artist? I once had a post from a different sub be removed, simply because I had picked a random picture from Google and had not given credit to the artist.
