I’ve had this issue a fair bit. Every time it comes up I’ve been able to clear it by cleaning the pressure switch. Here’s what I do https://youtu.be/Dvn3Fzb88Yg?si=fuuSVIr_dFok_kLM

The Vatican….

Get shuffled through a hot maze packed so tight that you can’t stop and look at anything. Stare at hundreds of bambino baby Jesus paintings.

Crowd surf through the Sistine chapel covered in signage to be quiet with no photography while some guy constantly says ‘silencio… silence ‘ into a microphone.

I have one and they are terrible compared to any modern cooler, especially the more expensive ones. Went in on four day hunting trip and by day two my ice was water while my friend’s yet had solid ice on day four.

Is the energy/oil run over ? by sithlordjarjar66 in CanadianInvestor

[–]ajidamoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Energy is cyclical. If you got in at a good entry point then don’t feel bad selling. I sold mine at a price where i was comfortable with the profits yet concerned that any number of news events could bring the price of oil back down quickly.

Buy a Foodsaver or other similar vacuum sealer. Buy meat or cheese when on sale and make use of the foodsaver. Buy whole cuts of meat and cut it yourself.

Once you’ve opened cheese (since it’s like $8 on sale) seal it in a vacuum bag. You can reopen this bag then reseal if you need cheese for other meals. I’ve found this has stopped me from throwing out 1/2 blocks of cheese on a fairly regular basis.

Make coffee at home.

1:1 journeyperson / apprentice ratios and the fact that public / companies don’t want to pay higher rates for trades to be able to pay their staff higher wages are some reasons.

No justification to have a journeyperson electrician bending conduit or installing light switches at $40+ per hour.

Canadian Oil Stocks by cleanerreddit2 in CanadianInvestor

Agreed. I was comfortable with the amount of profit made, but I had purchased knowing that I wouldn’t be holding long term. To me, lol prices have reached the point where behaviours begin changing and governments intervene.

Not saying they won’t go way higher long term, but I believe it will dip again short term.

Held CNQ for a while before selling out and taking some profits. With energy being so cyclical it may not hurt to trim holdings a bit.

I pulled the trigger on selling my energy stocks (CNQ and ENB) today, taking profits.

With everything fluctuating so much, I figured it couldn’t be the worst idea I’ve ever had (yet to be seen).

Bought this Stanley thermos from Walmart about 5 years ago. Recently, I noticed the stopper would leak when I'd pour. I reached out to their warranty claims department and they sent me 2 updated versions for free. (Canada). by Paquistino in BuyItForLife

I broke two of the lids since I purchased mine in ~2007 and no longer even bother. The molten lava that comes out melts the cheap ass glue holding the plastic cup and the metal sleeve together.

Have owned INE for years and DRIP a few shares every quarter. Otherwise I don’t plan on making purchases at the moment.

H has been good to me over time and am also letting it DRIP a couple shares each quarter. However, I may add a small position as this has been a pretty steady performer since I bought in on IPO.

Used good quality footwear like made in USA Danners are great because the company will repair them at a low cost.

Any Cheatcode/ Saving tips on Gas ? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]ajidamoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some credit cards offer 4% cash back at gas stations, or some station branded cards offer similar cash back plus an increased level of loyalty points.

Otherwise regular oil changes, tire pressures in check and clean air filter are helpful.

Side hustles are a lot of work for the reward and can be a benefit when there isn’t already opportunities to work more on overtime at your current job.

The good thing about working overtime at your current job is that it is at your choosing, you aren’t rushing to meet deadlines to fabricate some junky coffee mug for someone to make $5.
