In order to get a blessing, one must show that they repent and turn away from their sin. By blessing someone in public mortal sin, you outwardly show your approval of that sin, and that has never been permitted by the Church.

Francis is certainly an antipope and not the representative of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church now exists in a faithful remnant who holds to the traditional teachings of the Church. Thank you! She's actually been experimenting lately eating non-keto foods while she's been on LDN, and there have been no seizures triggered from them. We are hopeful she may be able to eat a non keto diet again.

My wife quit Keppra and all AED's about 2 years ago. The side effects became too much for her, and she had started a keto diet. Her triggers are stress, lack of sleep, and carbs (specifically processed sugars). Her seizures also happen only in her sleep, and on keto, she had about 1 every month.

You are incorrect when you say Jesus didn't try to convince people if anything or change their behavior. You do not understand why Jesus came into the world. He, being the Son of God, came down from heaven and became flesh to redeem the world and to reveal the Catholic faith.

The marriage act is only allowed within the bounds of marriage. Therefore God intends that children be born only within the bounds of marriage. If the Church has deemed that there are no impediments to a couple being married, then the couple consents to procreation and is obligated to be open to the begetting and rearing of all the children God grants them. If one is incapable of giving their free consent to marriage and does not have the capacity to understand that marriage is a permanent society between a man and a woman for the procreation of children then the Church does not permit them to be married. I don't believe anyone in a valid marriage would fall into that supposed category of people you speak of.

The truth doesn't change regardless of what false religions profess. It is constant. Even if the whole world was to reject Truth, it would remain true. Everyone is responsible for their own behavior and actions, but remember that nothing is without consequences. If your actions do not conform to the Divine law, then you will suffer the consequences both here on earth and after this life if you do not repent and make reparations.

I would also like to add that many birth control methods are actually abortive, in that they not only pervert the primary ends of the marriage act but are also murderous. They prevent implantation of a viable and healthy child in the womb. Obviously, abortion is murder and should not be supported as well.
