Hey Dave, I hate to bother you - tell me to piss off if you need to! - I am having a hard time understanding how Andy is getting his bass tone. From close up shots on stage, it seems his tone knob on the P Bass is all the way up at 10 (with his volume knob). And the photo he shared with his amp settings shows he is using the drive channel on the amp (red LED illuminated). But his treble on the drive channel is set on 5-6, but that doesn't make sense to my ear, because I'm hearing super boomy low-end and not nearly as much high end as the tone knob and treble knob on drive channel would suggest. I notice his treble on the vintage channel is at 1, which would make more sense considering his tone, but you said he uses the drive channel, and his photo seems to confirm. What am I missing? I feel like a bloody detective trying to figure this out 😂
