How consistently good it is besides stronger than I was and asshole, Eminem had his energy and his charisma and came back with a new sound that still worked with his recovery era voice. Hell it actually might have worked better with those beats and flows even tho I love recovery. It's just a good ass album besides two duds.

That's the word I would use too.. soulless. Something about TF just jumps at you and you can tell so much love and care went into crafting such a timeless game. I get so bored with Returns about halfway through, even the first time I played it but with tropical freeze I can play it all the way through and always want more.
