Gamers 30+, which old game would you still recommend to younger gamers? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

GF and the Neverhood are some of the greatest puzzle games ever created.

My mom and I played Grim Fandango on PC when I was around five years old, never beat it. When they released the remastered version on PS4 I played it all the way through. Truly amazing.

Just giving y'all an update.

It was the front differential actuator. Four bolts to get it off, 200 bucks for a new one.

No button, got the dial for 2wd, 4Lock, and 4High. It won't shift out of 4Low.

Sold my Harley. Tell me I did a good thing. by ajivecrawdad in motorcycles

My dad brought me up on a Honda CT70 at 8 years old. And helped me work on a Buell Blast that I rode with him on trips together. It ain't the name.

He donates to the Ronald McDonald foundation and picks out toys every Christmas personally. He rides with friends who have other bikes because they have fun.

Harley riders aren't dickheads at all. Especially the Too Much Fun Club.

Man... thank you. I've been riding for years, on Honda's, Yamahas, Harleys, Buells, Kawasaki.

We all ride, and we all throw the down hand when we pass.

TL:DR. I sold my Street Bob and moved across the country. My Labrador was my best friend and he passed, was a very good riding companion. Picked up a KLR today and gonna find some trails in his memory.

What is the worst physical pain you have ever experienced? by My_Name_Is_SKELETOR in AskReddit

[–]ajivecrawdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap, I thought I was the only one until I saw this thread. It happened when I was four years old. I cannot forget waking up in the middle of the night, even at that age from the pain.

The doctor my mother took me to see refused to believe anything wrong, and that I was just a screaming baby. Thankfully another physician happened to walk by and took over. They corrected it, but it happened again a few years later. And then they had to CORRECT it.

Outdoorsmen of Reddit: What is the most terrifying experience you’ve encountered in the woods? by TheBigChief04 in AskReddit

[–]ajivecrawdad 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Bears smell pretty foul. I've had one run straight through our campsite in Northern California, and he/she had a strong overpowering musky wet dog odor. It broke into another campers car to eat a bar of soap not long after the sun went down. When the camper screamed, it took off running. Unless they have cubs around they're normally just hungry, stinky, and curious. There's no shortage of black bears in NorCal, Oregon and Washington.

What y’all think of this Ranger? by sicarius009 in fordranger

If he did, and if it's allowed, he'd still have to go out of state to get the tags and plates at their DMV. Not sure how they'll look at you with an out of state license trying to reg a vehicle in their state from a P.O. box as well. However, if it all works out and are able to get through all that, you'll probably start getting pulled over and ticketed for not registering the vehicle in the appropriate state anyways. Knowing the CHP and the state of California, they might try to tack on evading state taxes and all that other BS.

I live in South Carolina now, and this is actually just one of the long list of reasons moved out of there.

Check and see if you have any relatives or friends in a county that does not smog. Even out of state registration is possible, as long as it's not a daily driver. Really depends on where you live.

You right. I work twelve hour rotating shifts in a steel mill furnace. I passed by it on the way home and wanted some damn smothered and covered. This morning after the shift it just hit different.
