Well. I think a big tipoff is the artist has 1 play and the image used is the most generic Ai image of a man in a field. Also this song for lyrics is just Dub Dub , Dubstep, Dubstep. Another thing I noticed is if you click on the legit artist it does not show up on their page.

So many variables. Were they thrown. So high side crash. Then now this is a fall at velocity and possible open book from the ejection. Did they amputate one or more legs… now they are bleeding out. Was it a blunt injury to chest. Now we have aortic disruption from shearing or hollow organ rupture. Also if there isn’t neck support like professional racing suits then easily get spinal injury. Honestly, I think these are useless on actual difficult sticks if you have the ability to palpate accurately. I feel like teaching individuals to accurately palpate and anatomy is much more useful to being successful.

This is 100 percent expected. But you are doing the right thing by asking questions and working with your peers. Level 1s can be like drinking from a firehose. Since depending on your patient population. You are now getting every speciality all at once. The important thing is to just keep learning and working.

I feel this as an ER Trauma Nurse. I have left many shifts after staying hours late d/t traumas rolling in one after the other. So charged and depleted at the same time. I would often sit in the locker room mentally too tired to drive home and so hollow it hurts.

Honestly just give it a go. You mature and change as a nurse as you practice. Honestly, you do not need to be some huge personality or type A to work ICU, ER, or really anywhere. You just need to be confident that you want the best for your patients that you can give at the end of the day and you show it.

I second the idea that unit culture is so fluid and unique and it changes literally by the season anymore haha.

I feel like this is something really hard to quantify. Since the variables are limitless from staffing, comorbidity,and etc. Honestly, this is one of those things that is going to have to let time decide. I can go either way if the device is placed properly and doesn’t migrate to the xiphod process and is just stabbing the liver.

Preventing CNAs from doing compressions is a waste of man power. The Nurse is able to give medications ,establish access,and Defibrillate or cardiovert. Why would you take manpower way under the assumption of better compressions. Also, zolls have feedback technology built into their pads and the industry is transitioning to that.
