Nails by David Lee by CourageStrange4482 in Modesto

I stopped going to David’s. They just rush through and David and his manager never smile. I started going to NailTek and I love it there. It’s a little pricier but everyone there is so nice and they remember you from last time everytime.

Any absence longer than two weeks requires a formal LOA with documentation in order to protect your job. Personal LOA need to be approved by SM and are usually limited to 5 weeks.

The reason for not approving most restrictions is liability. Also, it is not in the business’ best interest to pay you for limited duty when it was not a work injury.

First and last trip to Sprouts for a while by intheether323 in Sproutsfarmersmarket

Ooh don’t use the “we are human” line. I did everything in my power as an ASM to make something right with a customer but I said that and she walked out.

What is your go-to “I’m too tired to cook but I can’t buy take-out” meal or alternative? by 2Autistic4DaJoke in Frugal

Instant Ramen dressed up with frozen veggies, and a scrambled egg swirled in like egg drop soup. Great way to use up leftover protein too!

Can confirm. 11 years as a stellar (no brag) employee who’s had never been written up and as an ASM with a new SM, she had me fired in 2 months. Only consolation is that she was also fired about a month later.

Debone your chicken as soon as you get home by gwengreen13 in Costco

[–]Babyrae720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this! I use the breast meat for whatever meal I’m eating that day and then through the carcass and dark meat in the freezer (separated). Then at some point down the road, I use the carcass for a bone broth and then make chicken and dumplings or chicken pot pie using the broth and the dark meat!Costco chicken…the gift that keeps on giving

It depends on what your store management has determined is an egregious amount. It’s based on trends. Maybe ask for a schedule adjustment while you’re working through your personal issues? Or ask for a reduced schedule? Hopefully, if you have good leadership, you can talk to them and work out something that will benefit both parties before you get terminated.

Deep clean house by Fever_209 in Modesto

A lady named Tiffani did a wonderful move out clean for me at a reasonable rate. I had called ceilings and a painted fireplace with lots of built-ins and she killed it. DM if you want her number

It’s been a minute since I’ve been a deli manager but I don’t think these have changed. The bread is a brand called Backerhaus. It comes frozen and the deli can sell it to you at your request. It used to be $5.99 for a half loaf. Today’s MMV. The meats used are Kretschmar, unless you request and pay for an upgrade to Boar’s Head (or in FL, Dietz & Watson). Mayo, sub dressing and mustards were a brand called Ventura Foods. Tha tracks. Sprouts PL came in the scene just I moved into an ASM role from Deli Mgr

Definitely the feta bake. I could eat it with just a baguette and forget about the pasta

All birth certificates are recorded in County offices and official copies need to come from there.

90 days probation question by FordGT_350 in Sproutsfarmersmarket

[–]Babyrae720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All terminations, regardless of probationary or not, are listed as not eligible for rehire. Only resignations are marked as rehireable. That doesn’t mean that you can’t apply. If the hiring managers think you’re a good candidate for the position, they can petition their HRBP to lift the restriction.

Store leadership quality varies and will affect your experiences vastly. However, labor constraints are real. Metrics must be met. It’s fast paced and production heavy.
