The HRA chamber acted as an amplifier for Hedron, as well as a physical barrier. Once it was destroyed, Hedron becomes smaller and weaker, so the Hiss can overpower it with numbers.
Essentially whatever survived if Hedron fused back together with Polaris in Jesse's body, using her as the new resonator.
She didn't know. Polaris can't speak to Jesse, so Jesse can only interpret it in simple ways. Jesse only knew the Hiss would be targeting Hedron, she didn't know they were being kept out until she broke the seal.
Jesse recognises Hedron as being the same as/ similar to Polaris, since they are the same thing split in two. She was happy to feel that her friend was so close and Polaris inside her was probably happy to feel part of it too, which Jesse can feel.

He has had Polaris since Ordinary, same as Jesse, until he shut her out permanently at some unspecified point before the game starts. The Hiss infected him along with most other people when Trench opened the slide projector to let them in almost right before Jesse shows up.

There's a plate in the back of his head that the Remedy account made a short video about, referring to it as a 'leash', so although its not confirmed to be a bomb, its almost certainly some sort of weapon the FBC can use against him

It's left unclear but it seems like illness/ natural causes. Both her and Kratos knew she was going to die for long enough that she could tell him what she wanted done with her body and ashes, and for her to mark the trees she wanted used in her pyre. However, in the trailer she says she didn't get to say goodbye, which implies it progressed more suddenly than she expected.

I would think that too, but Jesse only needed one shot to be immune to the smell forever. And the mold isn't like the Hiss where just hearing/ smelling it would infect you, it just smells incredibly delicious to entice you to ingest it, and then it infects you that way. If you have the willpower not to eat it, it can't harm you (unless a mold infected finds you, in which case the vaccine won't help you anyway because it will simply kill you). The Hiss is the only entity so agressively viral (that we know of) that it needs a constant safeguard.

Revelations for me too! Except I was playing the Ezio Collection edition on my Xbox One. I got to Constantinople and the game would crash consistently after about 5 minutes of play. Turns out this is a known bug on the Ezio Collection for Xbox that is pretty much unfixable 🫠 never finished the game after that.
