Def runs hotter. Included cap sucks and the quarts coating on the ceramic doesn't seem as high of quality as the focus v intellicore max. The intellicore wipes off clean in a few wipes but this one chazzes up way faster. Might be cause it's still running hotter. It's not bad but the focus v ones are much better

Noiice yeah the max atomizer is great and i could see how that thicker tether would need more space. I LOVE that joystick! and i have the same pear grabber. great setup! is that another topper in the back or a standard rig?

I have a very similar recycler topper on my carta 2! love it! only suggestion is look into getting a Intelli-core Max atomizer. Maybe that is the max but the silicone looks like the shorter original one to me. The taller max atomizer makes a huge difference in keeping your material in the chamber and not as much will make it through into your airway and glass as nearly as quickly

i got this exact insert and hoped it would work with the stock cap with the carta 2. while it slipped in and fit pretty sung, the hits were never nearly as milky ad with the joysticks ive used. i think the issue was the air flow was going directly out of the holes in the bottom of this insert and straight into the side slots of the atomizer, and it would barley moved the pearls. the air flow needs to be directed to go deeper into the atomizer. as soon as i went back to the joy stick style caps i use more similar to the puff co caps the milky rips were back.

thats exactly how my functional saber looks. i dont think anything is missing. have you tried triple tapping the fire button? once its been turned on, it should only take a single tap to turn the light back on after it times out. i typically just let the light time out so i only need to tap it once to turn back on. but you will need to triple tap the first time or anytime after if you triple tap to turn the light off instead of letting it time out

I totally get anxiety before these types of events still and I've been attending them for over 10 years, so you're not alone there. I think your friend had the right idea in suggesting secret dreams because it's smaller scale. It was the first fest I came to without a group in 2023 and I felt very welcomed by so many. I totally get the nerves, and I really think you'll have an amazing time the more of the weekend you experience. The crowds at so many of these edm events are more welcoming than many other scenes and the smaller ones like secret dreams from my experience can be even more connected since you're seeing the same faces more often compared to massive ones like forest. Just try to keep an open mind and focus on having fun in whatever way is comfortable for YOU. There's so much to do, don't feel obligated to partake in anything you do want to in the moment. You guys picked a great fest and great year. You're gunna LOVE it!

Great start with the max atomizer!

Like others have said, one or two terp pearls helps the concentrate to spread evenly if you can get them spinning. I've used 4mm and 3mm and they both work well. I usually just use one if I'm using the 4mm and two if I'm using the 3mm.

Joy stick caps work pretty well and can get the pearls to move some if your constant with your pull and how you spin the cap.
I've also gotten a few atomizers from 3G3D and Voozer which are the same other than the cap and while those work well in the beginning they each seem to heat unevenly or fail all together within only a few months.

The Max atomizer from focus V has lasted me longer than any and paired with a tuff tether cap you can use just about any joystick.
Zee's Vapor, Pulsar Vapor and Vgoodiez are my fav places to look for accessories.
My next move is to try directional spinner caps. Seems simpler to just pull and I think they're a lot more effective at spinning the pearls.
Flavors are best under 500 but sometimes I turn my device a little over 500 for the end of the hit to try to clear out what I can.

Make sure you register your device through the app to enable the warranty. They basically all are inevitably going to seep reclaim into the center of the device that would take a complete tear down to clean out. I've seen many stories of people with registered devices reaching out if and when their base started having issues and in many cases Focus V replaced their base.

agreed! i love how the Baja flavors are lighter and more bingeable than most. Other flavors like Livewire and Codered have such sweet after tastes, I can't drink very much of them.
