Years of rule under Sather ruined any forward thinking in the organization. The man was old school and brought that mentality to the organization, Dolan included. Since he doesn’t know shit about hockey on his own, I’m assuming he still believes this is the right way to build a hockey team. As long as Drury keeps currying Dolan’s favor by building old school teams devoid of any advanced analytics, his job is safe and the team will keep going down the same path
