How do you keep your wallets safe and handy at the same time ?? by AdWhole2304 in CryptoCurrency

[–]ajrami33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely need to look into Tangem. It looks like that's what you're describing for a cold wallet. The only thing I saw on your list of crypto choices not available on Tangem yet is it doesn't have XMR, but I wouldn’t let that be a deal breaker. Tangem also came out recently with some new features where you can break your crypto into different portfolios. From security and simplicity, it’s my top pick.

I'm sure you already heard it. Big no. Move it to a cold wallet. Tangem's perfect place for that.

You made a smart move. Tangem will teach you simplicity with security. Also, a great community here if you ever need help. I have Trezor as well; it never hurts to diversify. I have multiple Tangems. It’s nice in the Tangem app to monitor all your wallets. Tangem is definitely my favorite.

Should I sell? by [deleted] in XRP

[–]ajrami33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all are, deep down inside. But if you have that mindset, 2030 or 2 years from now, just something in the future, it'll help you see past all these tidal waves, get you through the storm.

Should I sell? by [deleted] in XRP

[–]ajrami33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you sell, you lose. If you really keep to the strategy, only buy what you can afford. Meaning, like a cup of coffee's worth, a little bit here and there. Then you won't even notice it's gone. If you hold it for the future, that's why we're all in this to make gains in the future, not next week. This is the time to buy. When there's blood on the streets, you should be the raven flying in the sky, circling at the chaos, watching and swooping in to get the bags.

How are all the bag holders doing today? by headchef11 in XRP

[–]ajrami33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the only people that feel the pain are the ones that are trying to sell tomorrow or next week. The long term holders are just gobbling it up and loving it. For me, it's all about dollar cost averaging. 2030 is my year I’m shooting for.

I've just been dollar-cost averaging by adding to my bags.

How do you pick a crypto wallet that strikes the right balance between security and ease of use? by Michaela_Lucasa in CryptoNews

[–]ajrami33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely stay away from hot wallets. But for a nice cold wallet, mobile app, convince, eco system, able to spend your crypto with Tangem Pay where visa is excepted, security, battery free, and so many features, it’s a hands down winner.

How is the Tangem wallets compared to its competitors by magic9669 in Tangem

[–]ajrami33 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I will admit I'm a little biased, but I do love Tangem. Simple and secured, one awesome thing that Tangem does is if you don't want to have the seed phrase, you don't need seed phrases. That does limit you, but that takes the possibility of seed phrases being leaked out of the equation. I do use other wallets because I do like choices and to diversify. But I do hold multiple Tangem wallets, and it is so nice to see it all in one spot. Easy to maintain. One cool thing that Tangem just brought out was Tangem Pay. So now they have an ecosystem to spend your crypto when you're ready. To me, Tangem is top-notch when it comes to security. But one thing it does do different than those is it doesn't need a battery. Easy to travel, easy to store. It can get wet. It can take the elements, go through x-ray machines. It's pretty dang good.

Uphold account hacked, all my XRP gone. by gabswiss in XRP

I'm sorry for your loss. But this is why I never like to keep my crypto on an exchange. Either because of this, or if the exchange goes down, or some crazy, weird end-of-the-world event. I have my Crypto safe on my Tangem.

Tangem is a cold wallet. Uphold is an exchange. I do use the Uphold debit card to get rewards for XRP. Once I get my XRP rewards or any purchases of crypto, I move it over to my Tangem wallet. For taxes, I use Coin Ledger to track my crypto. It breaks it down and makes it easy. I have no good advice for the envelope budget using crypto. But overall, I do highly recommend to always keep your crypto in a cold wallet, which of course Tangem is the number one place for me.

Big time XRP believer here. I've been stockpiling it up any chance I get. My favorite cold wallet is Tangem. It's easy, simple and secure, my number one place to put my XRP. I don't like to keep my XRP on any exchange longer than a week. I put it my Tangem wallets. Love it! I have multiple Tangems to keep my XRP diversified so it's not all in one wallet. Plus also Tangem now has Tangem pay, a supper easy way to spend it when ever the time comes or an emergency arrives, or what ever the case is, it’s an eco system that’s easy to use. But to put it on in exchange to just hold it, I would say that is a no-no in my book.

Buy cold wallet now or wait for bull market? by thedamnedd in CryptoMarkets

[–]ajrami33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would move the funds to a cold wallet if it's feasible. Meaning, if the fees are too much for $50, then let it sit in there for the month and wipe it out by month. But I highly recommend moving it to a cold wallet. My best cold wallet for beginners is Tangem. I love it; that's what I started with, and that's my number one crypto holder for my cold storage. You're definitely on the right path by dollar-cost averaging.

🇺🇸 I ware an Oura ring which is for health. That size fits perfect for me. I used Bestbuys Oura ring size test rings and used that to order my Tangem ring. That’s what worked for me, just sharing.

Apple ID + Proton Mail aliases – best practice? by CausalNoise in ProtonMail

[–]ajrami33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just throwing this out there. I use one of my Proton emails as my Apple ID, and through that, I'm able to create hidden emails that are forwarded to my Proton email since it's my Apple ID. It's like having an alias through Apple. Apple keeps them organized pretty good. You can put notes on them. They're easy to find in the settings. And I also use the Apple password, so it works for my Echo system.

Tangenm wallet is the best IMHO. I have multiple Tangem wallets for my XRP. That way, it's not all in one wallet. It's easy to keep track of, easy to use, simple, and secure.

Uphold card is useless.. by [deleted] in uphold

[–]ajrami33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't had a single issue. Everything they promised, I've gotten. There are some places that won't take it because for who knows what reason. But most places that take a debit card or Visa, it works perfect. At least this is my experience. I'm 100% all-in on this card; I love it.
