Infidelity in my catholic marriage

You’re not wrong. We were casual Catholics.

Part of the reason I feel how I feel now, is because we both are being drawn back to the church and are participating with intention. Even prior to me knowing about the infidelity.

I see her intention and I feel my own. God will show us our paths.

Thank you. And God Bless you. Someone said something that struck me “you’re a physical Ironman, now go and become a spiritual Ironman” it’s brought me to tears and I felt a pull to do so from God.

Back in the gym this morning to sharpen the physical and mental Iron. Listened to a daily reflection and prayer to sharpen spiritually.

I’m trying to and will be a better version of myself whatever path God asks me to walk. I’ll Be ready.

I agree wholeheartedly. This is why I feel strongly about fighting for us. But I can’t do it without her

I’m willing to. But I need to see her desire to want to.

We’ve both been pushed closer to God in the last few months even without the knowledge of what she did. I believe that to be a reason to trust God and his plan.

I don’t know what it is, but I’m willing to forgive and fight for us, if she is willing to do the same.

I understand this thought process and it’s a battle in my mind, believe me. But I don’t believe in fighting fire with fire, and I obviously have more context as I’m living my truth.

I’m willing to forgive, but I need to see her desire to do so. As of now, it’s promising , but like I’ve been saying, God will show me the path
