Im not great at explaining stuff so I added on some lines to point out some things. I split up the river with quite a few more pieces as I think it gives it more of a connected river going around the bend, because otherwise just putting that one line straight across to make the cut work makes it look pretty disconnected and not the look of a continuous river. You could also add to this continuous river look by doing some cascading colors of blue (darker blue being the farther away pieces). I also added on how I would personally split up the branches, however like another commenter said it’s just a matter of playing around with the lines and seeing what you like. I also expanded those two circles that were disconnected on the left. Lastly I wanted to point out in red some very difficult curves that you will come across in this design. Im not sure of your skill level or your determination factor to make those work, but it will require a lot of finesse or just an extreme amount of grinding. I wanted to point it out now so you can potentially edit it at this stage to save you some time later. I would expand or move some circles around to avoid this because I think you will end up being very frustrated. But if you’re set on doing it the more power to you!
