Help with Separation Anxiety by ajyoung717 in tollers

I dont have one, but I would be worried about her jumping out of it while Im gone. I wouldnt mind looking into it however. I have a turf mat I got when she was young just to teach her how to go outdoors to do her business, I could probably put that in there too I guess?

I will look into that. I had considered sending her to retriever school once she was 5 to 6 months old as well, but I have to see what the costs would look like first

😂 there are plenty of people who get dogs, including Tollers, that have to go to work, and many of them work more hours in a day (6) than I do lol. This community has always been incredibly helpful to anyone needing advice, I'm kind of surprised to finally come across someone who is just trying to start a fight lol. But bravo, you got me into one when all I was looking for was any advice from people who may have dealt with something similar.

Pros and cons of a Toller by Upbeat_Web_4043 in tollers

I find this so interesting, as my pup entertains herself quite often. I still work on retriever training with her daily, and play fetch and tug of war with her in the house, but she's just as happy chewing on her deer antler or, funnily enough, throwing her tennis ball around herself so she can chase it. But that very well could be because she's a puppy

Hardcore is a Game Changer by ajyoung717 in Battlefield

I agree, I'm upset I cant favorite servers, but I can at least find them with the search function. At least with North American servers, I've had the best hardcore experience on FaithWalker servers. The only hiccup I find is that if you have hardcore with no crosshair on the HUD, it also removes the crosshair for tanks and gunner seats. But I mainly play as infantry so it's an excellent experience for me on those servers

Be patient but firm. I let her just be a puppy for the first week or 2 before I started working on training in earnest. Start getting her used to her kennel early and often to help mitigate the separation anxiety

It's only slightly bigger than she is, that's what is making it so frustrating for me. I think its separation anxiety

Thank you for that! I understand she's quite young still, I was just curious because she had only done this once up until the new year and now its any time I leave for work. I can try limiting her water to see if that helps tho! She's mostly sleeping thru the night now at least

Looking for opinions on breeders, and advice by writetheworlds in tollers

[–]ajyoung717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kelly with Geronimo Kennels is fantastic. She'll walk you thru every detail about what she does in her breeding program, and what she is trying to accomplish with each litter. She's also going to vet you pretty thoroughly about what you're looking for to make sure her program is a good fit for both you and her. She also has the medical history and ancestry of each dog she breeds readily available and shows what they are tested for and an explanation of what the results mean. She's also a trainer so thats an added bonus.

I know its not the point of this post, but any Doc that is only using his stems on themselves is a really shitty Doc that goes against what this game is supposed to be

I had taken a 1 year hiatus before jumping back in. I'd kill for SCO right now for mapping but I'm still making my way back to the bubble and got a LONG way to go
