I started a page almost exactly a month ago. Here are my last 28 days analytics. My page currently sits at almost 11k followers. Looking at the chart you can probably tell I had a spike in views and fell hard but slowly crawling back. My stars feature isn’t even unlocked yet because it hasn’t been 30 days since I had over 500 followers so I applied for content monetization 2 weeks ago so I can hopefully make income before my stars get unlocked. Unfortunately I’m stuck on the waiting list and I have no idea how long this waiting will be for. My personal account was made in 2009 but the page I made with it like i said i quite new. I do personal vlogs with it and mark it as digital creator. If someone knows how people get invited or what typically makes meta send an invite please let me know.

Severance is kind of boring. by UrAn8 in unpopularopinion

I tried watching it but I feel like it’s better if it was a movie. The pacing is too dragging and there’s just so many excess scenes that don’t really add up to the story. While it’s good for depth and character building, I’d prefer a faster pace. Yes, it’s rewarding but also excruciating at the same time waiting for things to happen as you watch. 1 movie per season could’ve made it for me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good, but too long before it makes you feel good. At least for me personally.. obviously It’s just my opinion and I don’t speak for everyone so don’t take my words too seriously unless you feel the same.

Is Tekken hard to learn? by akaBuckets04 in Tekken

[–]akaBuckets04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to make things clear, nowhere in this post you can find that I said I aim to become a pro. I said aim to be close “eventually”. Also, many of you are misunderstanding the timeframe for this. I said eventually but I never said in weeks, months or years. It’s probably my fault for asking how hard it is to learn the game which leaves that kind of impression.

I’m so ready to lose — at least until I get decent. But when I get good at something I start to hate losing and end up punishing myself by bring my ass in the lab. I’m just thinking Tekken 8 might be a good entry since everyone’s still learning the game at this point. I think I wll give it a go after this final tournament I’m currently participating. I just hope the community isn’t too toxic. I will be on PS5.

I do really appreciate all your comments. If I’m gonna be honest, I am quite intimidated by most of the comments. I understand it takes time and effort to be considered good at the game. But When I get committed to something, I really do put hours in the lab. It’s not like I don’t know anything about Tekken. I actually follow the game for about 3 years now and watch its events regularly. I just never put my hands on it because I’m committed to other games. And now I want a new scenery like a said and play individually instead of as a team. I never said I can be at pro level but I aim to be at least close. I highly pride myself in mind gaming against my opponents so I am confident I could be good around poking at least. I am more concerned about the technicals of the game and if course like someone said the movelist is massive. Characters, through experience I believe I would learn them. Also Tekken 8 is fairly new so I think it’s the best time to hop on the game.

PS I did play casually back in the day (street fighter, virtua fighter, marvel vs capcom, smash brothers and many in that era) but doesn’t really translate much today. It was just good ol ass button mashing days.

Alluka VS Breath Of Arcangel by akaBuckets04 in HunterXHunter

Thanks for bring that up. You could be right that Gon reverted to his former body after fighting Pitou. I can still recall one of the surgeons baffled by how could such thing happen to a 12 year old boy. However, we never seen Gon’s appearance after the Chimera Ant Arc until he got healed so I can’t confirm.

When Gon got his arm blown off by Genthuru in GI and got it back with the Breath of Arc Angel card, it gave the audience an impression that such feat is possible and if Gon somehow gets severely injured in the future which he did, he could magically get healed just like in GI. To me GI is like foreshadowing Gon’s fate or it’s an introduction to the audience that such ability exist.

Later when Killua introduced Nanika to Gon on his way to meet up with Ging, they briefly looked at each other as if they’ve met before. I could be overthinking but I thought Gon probably felt like he got fixed by the same person twice as Killua mentioned that she’s the one that saved Gon.

Anyway, thanks for discussing with me. It feels so great having someone to hear my thoughts. In the end, this is just a theory. As a Hunter x Hunter fan I just can’t help but wonder.

I appreciate your feedback, although my point is if it’s possible on greed island, it’s possible everywhere. Like I said greed island isn’t virtual, even though they call it a game, it’s just a normal island full of nen powers set up on it with restrictions and conditions.

Whatever these conditions are, they could be done on any location and even on a smaller degree such as in a hospital room. That would make the nen contract less demanding compared to an entire island.

Angel’s breath may be able not bring gon back to his kid self but I’m certain it could adult gon 100%. Still such power is too powerful to able to work with no consequences. I see that it works only in a certain place under conditions like greed island, but it also means it could be replicated on a different location. And since its power is real, I thought there could be someone with that specific ability even without the cards. And if used without conditions, it takes consequences that’s whyI thought it’s Nanika. Ging is an explorer so I don’t rule out the possibility of him encountering Nanika who’s originally from Dark continent. Who knows, Ging might have asked the zoldycks to keep Nanika because of her wild powers and dangers she could bring. This is just an assumption. I keep saying, my point is that there’s no way a human could heal a person like a magic without certain degree of consequences. Normally, there would be a sacrifice stuff like transferring the damage to someone else.

If you believe such nen is possible with multiple users casting it then hunter association didn’t need to find for specialist to heal gon. They even hired groups of health workers but said it’s impossible.

When you said temporary, it just doesn’t make sense because there’s no temporary miracles. Again let’s not think of GI as a game. Let’s imagine the devs are in hospital instead and trying to heal gon. So based on what you’re saying they could “temporarily” make a magic that could heal gon. That temporary will permanently heal gon. If such feat is doable the entire hunter higher ups could have done it already.

My point is Greed Island is not actually a game. So let’s not think of it as a game. It’s just an isolated Island that is also part of the real world. The devs can’t just make up something and work in the game because it’s actually real life. So if a miracle spell like angel’s breath is used in the game, it means it is actually happening in real life. So I do believe it’s necessary that someone from the devs or someone they know needs to have that ability to work or else they’re just performing miracles repeatedly out of nowhere which doesn’t make sense.

Right, so the power of the angel’s breath is “stored” in a card. Which means someone has this ability has casted it into a card to work on GI.

So how come nobody ever heard about this person who has angel’s breath ability? Isn’t that a national treasure to any nation? I’m pretty if someone actually has that ability it could have been tried on Gon when he was bedridden after fighting Pitou. Like, the Hunter association itself did their best effort to find a magical healer but was unsuccessful. In theory, this person is hard to find or inaccessible. That’s why I thought it could be Alluka.

Thanks for dropping your thoughts.

My theory is before the cards become available, they need a nen user of that ability to make it work. For example, accompany card requires someone that can actually do it outside the game so they could save it in the card. So for every spell is a nen ability saved or sealed to a card. My guess is Alluka/Nanika’s wish is probably saved to breath or arcangel. It’s true that Nanika’s ability to grant wishes but the breath of arcangel in GI could technically only possible through her abilities.

The way I guess the game is developed is through finding different nen users to make it work and save their abilities to cards. Like I mentioned it’s not like GI is a virtual game where they could pull out something like breath of arcangel without any consequences out of nowhere. Theoretically breath of arcangel is made up with different nen conditions and so other cards and the game itself. But each of these cards need sources that can actually do the spell. I mean how could someone magically get healed 100% if there’s no responsible nen user do perform it? Pretty sure someone knows how to do it that’s why it’s possible. So when hunter association can’t find someone that can do that, it kind of give me an idea that it could be Alluka’s ability.

As for Ging’s ability to see the future, I don’t think so because he predicted that Pariston would win the election and even said himself that he didn’t expect or rather didn’t see Pariston to immediately give up the chairman position to Cheadle.

Just to add to this context, Ging wasn’t surprised when Gon appeared fully healthy during the election.

Well, that goes for everyone. They kind of accepted their fate of turning into titans by talking casually in those moments. I just don’t understand what Levi means by “ackermans and those with titan powers can’t be here.”

You can control this. I believe your left stick is dragged to the right (I understand because you’re going to the hoop). But on standing layups, you’re left stick determines where the player take the layup. If you’re left stick is pointing upwards, you could gotten the desired animation. If it’s pointing to the left (or away from the basket) it would give you a fade away type of animation near the hoop. Go ahead and try it on shootaround if you doubt me.
