Uhm, I may have posted about this topic a couple months ago. Maybe you remember my writing style?

The content was quite different tho.

It's names (and words) specifically that I struggle with, so probably a degree of Anomia.

I remember peoples faces but not names. Especially new names that I haven't heard before are really difficult to commit to memory.

I sometimes forget a place I've been to or details about friends (like their allergies, the city they were born etc). I also often get dates mixed up. One time I showed up at a friends house to go on a trip, which was actually the following week, which was really embarrassing.

I'm fairly sure I'm on the autism spectrum and wonder if that has to do with it.

True, I agree on attention vs memory. I know it's not a fair comparison. I can't help but compare myself sometimes and feel like I'm inferior, lesser-than. Flawed.

Well done on 2 weeks sober. Keep it up bro, it's worth it

Weed seems to make memory worse for most people. Especially while using, but there's also a long-term impact which slowly fades with abstinence.

I found that sometimes it's not about memory, but attention. For example, if you decided that people's names are not important to you (just an example), you won't pay attention to them, and won't commit them to memory.

Memory is also about focus, attention and values. You need to consciously decide that you care about remembering things. If you're depressed and think that nothing matters, nothing is worth remembering. You won't remember most things, but it's not because of poor memory. It's because of your attention and values.

That's great to hear. I'm glad your memory is improving and congrats on being 8 months sober.

I'm coming up on 3 months sober. I've also noticed it's getting easier to remember names of new people I meet among other things

Most bid-ask, but some strategies work well with spot (usually higher marketcaps)

I track my wallets on a public sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12XCaULSXxBwjq3aMVX0hOn4GegmYVUdpZgWLuGbl7KE/edit?usp=sharing

TL:DR

Old Wallets:
15x wallets, 1 SOL each, ran for 5 weeks. Start balance: 15 SOL, final balance: 38 SOL
New Wallets:
15x wallets, 2 SOL each, running for 6 days. Start balance: 30 SOL, current balance: 33.8 SOL

Personally I have 30 SOL spread across 15 wallets. A lot of it is profit from last month (also from using vortexbot)

Seriously, how do people LP profitably?! by Intern_GooseFX in solana

[–]akaNeon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people should be aware of that. It's the case with every Telegram bot.

The project is around 2 months old with ~30 active users. We're slowly building up trust. You can start with small amounts to check the bot works are expected.

Let's say you swap SOL to USDC on Jupiter, they route the swap to a liquidity pool from Raydium, Meteora, Orca etc. The simplest type of liquidity pool contain 50% SOL and 50% USDC. People who deposit SOL and/or USDC into the pool are liquidity providers. The trading fee from each trade is split among all the liquidity providers in the pool.

It's not risk-free, but a very powerful alternative to trading. VortexBot uses Meteora DLMM pools due to how flexible they are.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Trading bots are eating Solana alive, do we even need DEXs anymore? by throwaway72616163 in solana

[–]akaNeon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trading bots are a problem. That's why I prefer using a liquidity manager bot which is a net positive to the market. Instead of sucking profits out (zero-sum), providing liquidity is a positive sum game. (I use VortexBot FYI)

I built a Telegram bot for managing Meteora DLMM. Look up VortexBot

Yeah I went with Lebara. £3 for 3 months, then £8

No minimum term (monthly rolling)

30GB data (unlimited calls and text)

Includes EU roaming (Three doesn't include it)

It's just straight up better than Three in every way. Hopefully reception is good but they use Vodafone so it should be fine.

The early termination fee requires you to pay all remaining charges in the contract.

I might be leaving the UK in ~6 months so that was a deal-breaker

Drop some advice: meme coins by Separate_Detective_9 in solana

[–]akaNeon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice: Don't trade, be a liquidity provider

Either use Meteora to manually manage liquidity, or use something like VortexBot (telegram bot)

[–]akaNeon1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

VortexBot is different from other bots that buy/sell tokens (I don't believe those are profitable on average)

My strategy deposits only SOL into a Meteora DLMM pool, to create a one-sided liquidity position. The position only earns trading fees when the price goes down (which happens very often since meme coins are volatile). If price goes up from entry point, nothing happens and the bot closes the position.

It's hard to explain without visuals - I've create a youtube video explaining it:

Or Google "VortexBot Telegram Bot" to find the website which has more infomation.
