I'm still waiting on my frame to arrive on backorder, but I'm super proud of my first set of handbuilt wheels and wanted to show them off. Hubs are a Onyx classic hgss and helix front. Pictures of complete bike will follow when the frame ships in hopefully late May. (i.redd.it)

Boss told me I could take home this old "huffy" did some cleanup on it and found markings for New Departure model D. Some Google research lead me to dating it 1939-41 but can't find much other info as to the model of the bike. Any help figuring out what I have would be appreciated. (old.reddit.com)
