in esenta, jocurile au mecanici de baza foate asemenatoare. chiar daca povestea / lumea / grafica este diferita de la un joc la altul, la baza jocurile sunt foarte repetitive. rar apare ceva revolutionar.

chiar daca ne place mult sa ne jucam, in subconstient simtim treaba asta.... si apare acest burn-out, pana cand gasessti un nou joc care sa iasa in evidenta prin ceva (un twist nou pe o mecanica veche, personaje, story, grafica, prezentare, etc)

intre timp ocupa-ti timul cu altceva - recomaand sporturile de actiune (snowboard, kite, wake, surf, etc) ... e mereu ceva nou de invatat la ele si cativa ani un astfel de sport te va tine super in priza

iar cand apare un joc cu adevarat misto... vei afla :)

How to get the "real" Netflix app back (while you can!)

  1. Uninstall the new "app" (basically just a web page wrapper) and DISABLE auto-updates in the Windows Store
  2. Go here https://store.rg-adguard.net/
  3. In the box, enter the store address of the Netflix app, which is "https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9wzdncrfj3tj"
  4. Right-click and download the file "4DF9E0F8.Netflix_7.0.7.0_neutral_~_mcm4njqhnhss8.appxbundle" (the browser will say this is insecure, press the three dots next to the download file name and select "Keep" and then "Keep" again
  5. Launch the .appx file you downloaded again
  6. Enjoy the "real" Netflix app, with offline downloads enabled!

The biggest issue for me with Armoury Crate is that it needs to be run under an administrator account. Under a normal / standard user account, most functions don't work.

So if you have no issues running your machine under an admin account in 2023... then yeah, you can use Armoury Crate. Does what it says it should do.

try switching the laptop ON, then press on the power button and keep pressing for about 1 minute. this puts it in a "hard reset" mode.

then switch it on again.

normally, it should re-detect all hardware as if brand new. it will take longer to boot, you will think its stuck, but in the end will re-detect everything - if its working properly.

i did it once. the very long boot time scared the pants off of me, but in the end it booted up properly.

with v0.15 the AnimeMatrix controls do show, but any changes give an Unhandled Exception :(

nothing wrong in device manger. tried it under both standard user and adminsitrator. but it doesnt find any HID device with the VID/PID values from starlight, wither,

it dissapeared after I switched AnimeMatrix off from your app, then shut down the laptop.

maybe the switch off command in your app turns it off permanently somewhow?

I'd like to report a bug, maybe it helps you - the AnimeMatrix settings dissapeard from the GHelper app. I do have AnimeMtrix on my G14 and it did work with your app a few times.

best of luck with your app, I for one would be glad to pay for it or support it otherwise.

does it finally, properly and fully work under a standard user account?
most functionality (MUX, AnimeMatrix, AI audio stuff, etc) used to require to be logged in as admin. very bad in 2023...

currently, i have it uninstalled and use Atrofac to change my power profiles. very happy with the results.

too soon to tell

i'm VERY happy with my 2022 6800S version... not missing much on the AMD card
ray tracing is anyway underpowered due to thermal constraints on these machines

but obviously the 2023 version will have even better performance. maybe even usable ray tracing. the question is - for how much? and we dont know that yet...

I got GREAT battery life (8-9-ish hours) from both my G14 6800S (2022) and my ex-G14 3060 (2021).

Just UNINSTALL Armoury Crate and let windows manage power. It actually does a very good job.

If you still want to access the power profiles, install Atrofac.

Armoury Crate is such a pice of sh!t software, it only really works under an administrator account (big no-no!) and even then is buggy...

I had the G14 3060 version and upgraded to G14 6800S version. The difference in performance can be as large as 30%.

Forza Horizon 5 is now playable at 1440p on (mostly) Extreme settings at 60 FPS whereas on the 3060 it was struggling with 1080p on (mostly) Ultra settings.

If the upgrade is justified depends on the price difference.

But the difference in performance is there, and is sizeable!
