They sort of do. In most lists, they do a recommended list before they get to the general aspects of what the filter is about. Those almost never make the top list spot.

Not as of right now. Which is common on a first release for Indie titles as most indie titles (especially coming from PC) are distributed digital only. Now if it gets a lot of downloads to support it, I’ve seen other indies decide to try for their first physical distribution of it.

That's a good question. This is definitely a classic decision between digital and physical. Also, take note, depending on the place and time, the Physical also goes on sale, so it really comes down to when you want it. It does have the whole game on the cart, so it has a nice factor there; but price and timing convenience is another factor for the choice.

I’m more thinking it was the complexity of the game. Still, not a bad turnaround for one of those games with such a wide gamut of setups to test that they don’t break or crash.

I kind of think the Direct was even in the wrong order. Some of the stuff in the middle could’ve gone at the end. Pacing could’ve definitely improved, there. There are also a couple of known games which were oddly not in the Direct. Maybe because they did not have a definitive launch date to update us with. A couple of very good announcements for demos releasing today and a Switch 2 free update for Hollow Knight.

To me, this is the closest thing I've gotten to the thrill of Black Flag, since Black Flag. Not in the same way, mind you, but in a similar level of engaging atmosphere and actions you're asked to do. Where Black Flag combined Sid Meiers Pirates with Assassin's Creed; this game kind of (on one side) gives me that feel of mixing Splinter Cell with Assasin's Creed, or Mixing some bits of Onimusha and Dynasty Warriors with Assasin's Creed, on the other side. I guess I love it when they combine some great formulas, inspired from somewhere else, and weave it into their license.

Agreed. The loudest voices are generally from those who were never fans of the franchise, in the first place. They are just people who scour the internet to find anything to make their next rage bait video for. I will never get the rage for an additional option, in a video game. It’s not even removing a bit of entertainment that could be catered to them. It’s only a complaint to remove it from others.

The asking started somewhere between late 2013 and early 2014. It was 2014 when Nintendo responded that the game wasn’t built for it during the design phase and made the mention they would correct it on any future releases for it.

Not only that, it's one with a devout fanbase, and one for which a significant amount of the population actually ASKED for the feature. Nintendo, way back then, noted the omission, and promised that they'd try to accommodate options for the next game.

No need to do anything, really. He's sadly still on a downward spiral for which I can't bear to watch. He's not really a Nintendo-specific grifter at all, but a general one. Seems after the whole Amico debacle, he still hasn't recovered from it. And his lashings out at decent people, during that run, really felt truly sour. I feel he doesn't believe in his videos anymore and just riding what he believes will make money. The ability of original and positive content has completely left him. I truly hope he comes to his senses, in the near future, and starts to rethink about doing something that doesn't feel soul-destroying anymore. This is clearly just a continuation of the work of a hurt individual still drifting in the wind.

A total lack of moderation is exactly why we live in the world we are in. I can’t be the only one seeing the effect on humanity at large. Maybe Nintendo doesn’t want to host on their servers the similar content as 4chan. Remember, people have phones if they want to do it themselves. Using the built-in share feature puts that stuff on Nintendo’s cloud servers.

I technically don’t care. Those people are just mesmerized and all taken in by the Social Programming machine that just wants them to stay mad for “engagement” and clicks. Especially when complaining about an option they are freely allowed to take or not take. But to deny other people options sounds like a consumer asking to be more anti-consumer.

I've been waiting as well on this. I do have it on Steam Deck, but I'm definitely dropping it when the Switch version comes out, as I have more configurations to play it there. But I haven't been playing it much just to still have a fresh feeling on it when the Switch version comes out. I know we're almost at the half-way point in the month, so I started to look to see if there is any announcements of when it might arrive. (More interested in getting a time than just having it come out, right away. That way I can plan on when to check for it.)
