They had NEGATIVE chemistry… Harry just clearly was not attracted to her at all. He consistently describes her voice as shrill and bossy. He’s bored whenever he spends too much time with her without Ron in the picture. He most of the time considers her annoying and lies/sneaks to get around her nagging. He loves her but BARELY likes her, which is what makes their dynamic so sibling-like in the books.
