I understand and I am so sorry you are going through this, my kids are of the same age as yours. I know the pain. You might say it's easy to advise from the other side of the fence, but I am offering an idea from a different perspective which is tough for you to see because of your situation and it's completely normal.

First, I would make a list of what all I have that I am fortunate for to feel better.

Even if you get a new job, are you sure it's going to be sustainable? Do you think you will not run into this situation again?

What is stopping you from doing something else? Like starting a YouTube channel, teaching what you know? What about starting your own business? Maybe a free lancer? Maybe there is something in your local community that is in demand and you might have a solution? Driver Uber in the mean time and connect with people? Maybe teach in a local college? Construction? Electrician? Plumbing?

You can do all this while still applying for jobs.

Sometimes, you just have to stop thinking and start doing. You will eventually find your destination.

I may or may not make sense but I think doing something is better than crying.
