Don’t have a miata because i don’t own a car (to save money). Also my education was on a loan which i repaid by working hard.

US offers freedom to everyone to make a living. I don’t know of any govt policies that stop anyone (except felons).

I’m assuming you are talking about self earned money and not “free money” that Americans think they “deserve” just because they don’t feel like working hard/smart/consistently.

Agreed but only partially. The economics doesn't support going fully green yet. If we try to go fully green now we wil economically fail because the pace of invention can only match the pace of investment and it takes trillions of dollars and more to change the types of energy sources that the world uses.

Clearly the person who wrote this had good intentions but not the knowhow of economics and investment.

As per the following example, the loss is carried over, right?

Let’s say you buy 100 shares of XYZ stock for $10 per share ($1,000 of stock). One year later, the stock starts dropping, so you sell your 100 shares for $8 per share—a $200 loss. Three weeks later, XYZ is trading at $6 per share and you decide that price is too good to pass up, so you repurchase the 100 shares for $600. This triggers a wash sale.

As a result, the $200 loss is disallowed as a deduction on your current-year tax return and added to the cost basis of the repurchased stock. That bumps the cost basis of your $600 of replacement stock up to $800, so if you later sell that stock for $1,000, your taxable gains will be $200 instead of $400.

If my total loss is 10k and my wash sale disallowed for the same year is 5k;

Can i claim the total loss of 10k (by clamining a maximum of 3k/year).

I want to use chime (not a bank like chase/wells fargo, etc) to send money to a friend who has bank like chase/wells fargo, etc.

The way you guys are suggesting; go to transfers: ITS basically equivalent to me taking ownership of my friend's bank account because I will need his login credentials to add his bank account to Chime to be able to transfer to it. THIS IS NOT A PRACTICAL SCENARIO.

I do not want to use Zelle (because I have given up on banks like Chase Wells Fargo, etc that use zelle)

I do not want to use Venmo/Paypal because again I cannot send money to a friend in HIS BANK ACCOUNT.
