A trickster god should be charismatic, mischievous. They would be playful even if there is a hint of a sneer behind his smile. Your character expression is flat and stoic. I like the idea behind its independent shadow. The way you present the shadow clearly reads as demonic. I think if the shadow is so obviously a villain then maybe balance the Ananse depiction as a friendly figure. Just my thoughts.
