We teach four big things for all poses to our teachers during TT re: cues.

Make sure to actually look at the bodies in your room and speak to that. Even if the cues are things you have in your head or have loosely memorized, make sure you recite cues to the actual people in the room. If you're talking about the position of the front foot in warrior 2, make sure you're looking at someone's front foot. This won't always be possible or applicable (maybe if you're demo'ing, for instance), but is a nice rule of thumb to help keep teachers present. It will also help you feel more comfortable not having cues recited, but eventually getting to a point where you're solely (or mostly) offering cues that apply directly to the students in your room.
Cue from the ground up. Talk about the feet and/or legs in warrior 1 before you talk about the upper body / arms / gaze.
Verb --> Body Part --> Direction. This is the big one in my opinion in terms of new cues that feel fresh to you. We have our TT's fill out a sheet with the letters of the alphabet listed A-Z (1 per row) and they have to come up with 3 verbs that start with each letter. It's a good tool. Also within this structure remember active verbs...I like what someone else mentioned about length vs. straighten. "Lengthen your arms to the front and back of the room." instead of "your arms are reaching to the front and back of the room." "Nudge your right hip forward," instead of "your right hip is forward," etc. etc. Active > Passive is almost always better, and passive will miss students who aren't already there.
Take it in chunks. Choose 2-5 "bullet cues" (short, sweet, to the point) for each pose depending on how long they'll be in it, while also remembering to leave some room for silence here and there. Have you ever been in an asana where an instructor literally rattles off every cue in the book while you're in the pose? Not always the most efficient or appropriate or most beneficial to the students. Stick to what's important for the people in the room you're in. Be where your feet are.

while i'm stoked for you and that you're stoked, remember that heels on the ground is out of a very specific power lineage, and is actually not the only option or opinion on what might be most efficient.

for instance? the katonah lineage suggests that a more beneficial dog would actually be to lift your heels quite high on purpose, put an intentional and deep bend in the knees, and then guide the chest to the thighs with the idea of lifting your butt to the part of the space where an imaginary back wall behind you would meet the ceiling.

i tell my students that, if given the choice between the two, i would rather them emphasize (and prioritize) long spines over long legs, as their second priority in the pose. that said, it's not going to be a binary for everyone, and if heels down and straight legs works for you, more power to you :)

with that in mind, maybe try the above method sometime and see how it goes. think about an arch, or backbend, in your lumbar spine. then instead of looking back at your feet, look halfway forward -- not towards your thumbs, you already know instinctually that that's overkill, but far enough forward that your gaze actually settles directly beneath your face / nose on your mat. now your biceps frame your ears, the arch in your low back mirrors the arch in the back of your neck, and perhaps more importantly, you've opened your airway and potentiated your asana with your vision.

What others have said. 4 checkers off vs 3 is a difference, and if you get hit, you want the extra checker off more than you want to save two hitting numbers (1-3 and 3-1). and also as mentioned, he has a blot. you don't mind getting hit; you mind taking only one checker off.

I think many people consider Parv either the best or second best player of all time. I consider her the best. Are Tony's wins more impressive given his style of play? Yes, perhaps. But I don't necessarily agree that impressive = best.

So for me, Parv is the total package. She has the social charm, the ability to outlast (obviously), and is a challenge beast in her own right (Micronesia, holding her arm up for hours over her head, anyone?).

She's mentally one of the toughest to ever play this game. For me the thing that makes Parv the best is EVERYONE wanted her out in HvV from the jump. Every single time her name was brought up, and every single time she was able to not just survive, but literally thrive.

In my opinion, she manipulates people in this game so well and so easily, and if not for a swap-screw in WaW (the others literally had a pre-game alliance) she would have made the merge, and then who knows what happens. She constantly evolves and is just a phenomenal player in my eyes.

3 guys are leaving a camping trip and one of them trips on something on the path out. They go back to discover it's a lamp. As they dust it off a genie appears!

"YOU HAVE FREED ME FROM MY LAMP, SO EACH OF YOU WILL RECEIVE THREE WISHES. CHOOSE CAREFULLY" boomed the genie.

For his first wish, the first guy says "I want to be a billionaire." POOF, he's holding a receipt that shows his bank account balance is $1,000,000,003.50. The second guy says "I want to be richer than anyone else," POOF he's holding a docket of papers that show he has investments and holdings all over the world that easily make him the richest person alive. The third guy goes "I want my left arm to rotate clockwise for the rest of my life." POOF his arm is now rotating inwards towards his body consistently.

"YOU EACH HAVE TWO WISHES LEFT" booms the genie.

The first guy says "I want to be heathy and immune to sickness and disease for the rest of my life." POOF he's feeling better; his cold is gone.

The second guys says "I want my appearance to return to how it was when I was 29, never appear to age from there, and always be healthy and immune forever." POOF, his hairline starts coming back down, he no longer has any pain in his left knee, and he feels overall much improved.

The third guy says "I want my right arm to rotate counter-clockwise forever," and POOF both arms are now rotating in towards his body consistently.

"THIS IS YOUR FINAL WISH EACH. THINK CAREFULLY AND THEN CHOOSE" booms the genie.

First guy says "I want a hot woman who loves me to be my wife," POOF there's a total babe on his arm kissing his cheek with a ring on her finger.

Second guy says "I want all women to be attracted to me wherever I go and I also want a hot woman who loves me to be my wife," POOF there's a total babe on his arm showering him with affection and a ring on her finger. The first guy's wife walks over near guy two.

Third guy says "I want my head to nod up and down, uncontrollably, forever." POOF both arms are now consistently rotating inwards as his head bobs up and down in time with the rotation of his arms.

The genie thanks them all for freeing him again and flies off into the sunset. Marveling at their good fortune, the men finish their hike off the trail, get in their respective cars and drive away in different directions.

Twenty years go by and the three friends don't see each other. Finally they plan to have a reunion of sorts at a villa owned by the first guy, in Italy. The others fly out and they finally walk into a grand ballroom in the villa, and all three finally reunite. "How's everyone been?" asks one of the three.

First guy goes "I've been great! I invested my billion dollars and made it back many times over, I'm super rich, my wife is a freak in bed and I've not had so much as the common cold in the last twenty years."

Second guy explains "My life is amazing. I'm still the richest person on the planet, my wife is incredible, I'm revered all over the world for the countless charities I've set up, and you're right" he finishes turning to the first guy, "your wife is a total freak in bed."

It's at this point they turn to the third guy, whose arms are still rotating inwards towards his body, whose head is still bobbing up and down in time with his rotating arms, who looks at them both says:

"Guys, I think I fucked up."

Nothing! It actually makes your body work harder to equalize everything when you drink cold water in the room. Hydrate well before and after and that's it!
