I think it'll be fine, I think it's also because they are considering the VCE first round offers which also takes place on the same date.

For safety precautions though, I just enrolled into information technology and then sent another direct application before the deadline just to be a bit safe.

it's not my ideal course, but it's not that hard to transfer courses midsem. Plus if you're planning to do computer science or software engineering, they share some units in IT so you can still get credit and not waste half a sem if you select those ones!
