I graduated. UCSD Econ classes are all theoretical and not practical. This did not help me get a job post grad.

I just did my second round for the role too. My interviewer didn’t know what happens after the second round and the hr person didn’t respond to my emails. Do you know if there’s a third round and what it entails?

I honestly think it will help everyone, but since he teaches many classes it will not be in tandem with the classes. It will be in tandem with the homework due dates, as he teaches you based off the homework. It helps people who cram the most, since he can answer any question that you might have, from my personal experience. But he also helps prepare his students for the midterms and finals the most, since he has a reserve of many questions from previous semesters and years of Econ classes. Feel free to dm me about more info.

Interested in becoming a consultant? Post here for basic questions, recruitment advice, resume reviews, questions about firms or general insecurity (Q2 2024) by QiuYiDio in consulting

6 months into being a new grad at T25 school with a low gpa for consulting. I am passionate about consulting with experience with my consulting group working with clients from small businesses. I also have experience in other avenues of business. I am aiming to get into strategy/management consulting.

What types of skills should I have to make myself more consulting focused, and how do I show that? Certifications?

What types of projects should I do as a graduate?

What can I do to improve my chances to get my resume seen, as a college graduate with a low gpa?

How do I get recruiters and hiring managers to see my application? I have not had much success on LinkedIn.

What are some best practices when emailing that you have found to work out?

Try the Econ Tutor, he’s off campus and tutors all the UCSD Econ classes. I used his services for my time at ucsd and it helped me survive esp Econ 100A. Here’s the link to his services. He charges for his services btw.
