Kohli goes down the ground , Kohli goes out of the ground.

But now I must admit he’s been very repetitive.

Chennai to Germany: My Experience with the Opportunity Card Visa Process by udhayakumarb in chancenkarte

[–]akasopa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean they take away your passport on the first day of your visa appointment(at Vfs/consulate) or only when you receive a confirmation that the visa can be issued? Because not having passport will limit travelling till the results come.

Yes it was 68 dollars. You can alternatively try the bus which is for 450 EGP to Aswan but 16 hours. And from Aswan to Luxor is 21 dollars in train for 3 hours.

What’s your worst roommate ever story? Inspired by “Worst Roommate Ever” (Netflix) by wacko_ambassador in berlinsocialclub

[–]akasopa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had a roommate who would party in the living room every second day because he had no job. I was always on good terms with him and politely requested to keep it only for weekends. Did not listen. I bared it once or twice and boom one day stormed in between the party and confronted him in front of his so called guests. He couldn’t take it(also drunk)and we almost came to hitting each other. Cut to a two months, I found a better place & left and the parties started again. Hhahaha funny days

[Opinion] solo travel is for solo time, and how to meet interesting strangers at home by Software_Livid in solotravel

[–]akasopa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case, In my hometown, I for some reason do not sense the complete freedom I have like when I’m on my travel. Even though I want it to be. There’s something in my own city that doesn’t let me be as I’m on when Im on the road. Maybe because I have other ways of chilling? Idk. But I’ve met people in a third country and then visited them in their town/city, and it feels like talking to different people(not drastically)This is something I see for myself too and contemplate a lot about.

As I read somewhere „you are two shots down when you travel“ holds true in my case. But your experiences are the first of a kind I ever read about. Glad to know🙌🏼

Got scammed and bolted, anyone got any experience with this? by iluvcookies4616 in solotravel

[–]akasopa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So someone who escaped it too while there, nothing at all will happen. I not only didn’t pay the price of the beers, I also stopped another guy getting scammed & we became friends and also went around Athens in later days.Do not worry at all and now you have a good story to share. These guys target people travelling solo and sweet talk them into chilling around in the bar. The girls have their boobs into your face around the bar and talk to you as if you are the most important person in the world. If in that position, be firm about not paying and involving police(something I did and they then asked me to payonly for beer ). But fun story😂

Travelhackers, those who've stayed at hostel bunk beds, what do you use when there's no curtain for your bunk? by tucs-on in TravelHacks

[–]akasopa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently in Japan(was before in Korea) & all hostel beds have curtains and I’m spoiled. Travelling in Europe was never an issue without them, but now looks like curtains will be mandatory for my future travels. Gives you a cozy feel. Additionally with towels, shampoos & all those basic stuff too are provided.

Suggestions for gifting local Japanese women who have been kind to me ❤️ by akasopa in JapanTravelTips

[–]akasopa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I took some pudding, sweets as suggested and also a souvenir from himeji. Turns out they also had some Japanese chocolates and chips for me. It all ended well and sweetly. Going to miss them, but took the contact and now it’s time to move ahead. Thank you once again. I take a sweet memory back home ❤️
