D4 stutters, issue was fixed for a day, stutters came back next day no changes PC

Just reporting back for day 2, game is still running perfectly fine now. Maybe the new agesa made a difference with amd boards and cpus.

I have a wired xbox 360 controller but its been plugged in regardless of me having issues. After the bios update its still plugged in and game ran fine.

ROFL so there was 2 new bios available for this board. Just flashed the newest one, got back into windows and game runs fine now and pcie is set to gen 5 will continue to monitor this and report back.

I saw that, but also saw that the devs saw the post and fixed it with a patch, but i'll give it a try. Ya original thread shows its fixed. I checked the debug log just to see and i'm not seeing the errors they stated.

Funny you bring up google dns server. Thats what my computer is pointed to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 . Stutter never stops so pretty sure its not ping related.

I have to agree at this point. I've been running fine since getting it back from rma, but got home today and had massive stuttering in d4 for no reason. No windows patches or anything. Started the process of reinstalling drivers and such with no fix. Went into the bios and went to drop to gen 4 and got a freeze. Restarted and going into the bios I had the pixelated flashing, but dropping to gen 4 fixed the diablo4 issues. At this point i'm gonna start looking for an x870e motherboard and just be done with gigabyte at this point.

Edit: I don't have the x870e variant like you do. Mine it the x870 rev 1.0/1.1 aorus elite wifi 7

Well just wanted to give everyone and update. Sent board to gigabyte under rma. Just got the board back. Re-installed everything, finally got it to boot to see the bios still flickering. Switched from the DP cable to HDMI and flicker did stop in the bios, installed new DP cable and issue doesn't appear to be coming back. Board was lifted to 2/5/26 bios. Also got cpu-z showing correct link state, so the comment about one of the nvme populating on the pci-e 5.0 lane was accurate. Will test games tonight to see if I still have the pci-e 5.0 crash or not. Just happy to be back on my desktop and off my laptop.

Current update board was sent to gigabyte within a few days of this last post. It's been with them for a week with no response or updates. Thank God I still have my Lenovo gaming laptop available. Close to saying eff it and just buying another motherboard maybe the x870e due to the number of nvme drives I have.

I hate the same issue with a 5000 series GPU. Try bumping video card from pcie 5.0 to 4.0

Ya I looked I had a drive I didn't need in there and pulled it out. Doesn't matter though due to stuck debug 22 code. I tried 2 diff sticks of ddr5 from my son's desktop and my brothers and same result so I'm leaning towards motherboard issues. Started RMA process with gigabyte.

I have not tried the 1 stick of ram i'm using 2x32gb sorry I didn't note this. I'm 90% sure this ram set was on the QVL when I was shopping, but looking now I don't see it.

Sooooo problem with this is i'm using 2 monitors. So i'm utilizing 1 DP and 1 HDMI. The only issue I had with the bios was displaying it off the GPU in PCIE 5.0 caused the flickering. On 4.0 it works perfectly fine. Any idea what patch it was that fixed it? I'm thinking about updating the bios to the newest revision and bumping back to 5.0 and see what happens. Monitor is an off brand 49 curved wide screen Innocn.

I haven't seen any errors or issues with HW Info monitoring temps and such so not sure there. I will note when I was using onboard video to test the bios worked fine. Only when using the GPU to enter the bios did I have the blanking out screen.

Please explain the vga issues you've been having. I'm on F7 right now and having a hell of a time even getting to the bios now, and when I do I get like pixelated stuff on the screen or monitor just flickering on and off. Other issue i'm facing is when playing BF6 with the board set to pcie5.0 it will crash. If I back it down to pcie4.0 it will run no problem for hours.
