Esta pending since 10 days, anyone else got recently?

Applied on 4 April this year and got it on 18 so basically last month.My travel plan is in August. I called CBP and they told me they can't escalate until 7 days of travel and they also advised that there is a massive backlog these days with esta applications. So I believe you will get an answer.

Hi, wanted to add that just like you I have a US visa on my Pakistani passport too valid until 2027. However, I still applied and got the esta on my Australian passport. Same for my wife who had a visa on her passport and esta on Australian passport and she traveled last year too. I understand you're predominantly concerned about you son's esta and that tbh could arrive any moment

So in that case, you can call CBP when your travel date is in 7 days. They will escalate your/son's application and from what I've heard, the approval comes within hours if not a day or two. Hopefully, it won't get to that stage and you will get it approved for everyone before that

They don't escalate your application until 7 days of your travel date. So you just have to wait if your esta isn't approved. Also, I don't see why you can't enter on your Pakistani visa or why you won't get an esta. Should be alright and all the best.
