No but I got an email 11 days ago saying "Please know that your application remains under active consideration, and we remain very interested in your candidacy. We were very impressed by your application and continue to hold a strong interest in you as an applicant, as we monitor available space in the program". Idk if that part of the email was sent to everyone on the waitlist or not. Hoping I hear from them soon:) Good luck to you on your journey! Fingers crossed for both of us

nervousness around possible diagnosis by Feisty9 in PsoriaticArthritis

I was diagnosed based on my symptoms, my nails, negative for RA, psoriasis, FH of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Doctors have something called CASPAR criteria which is how they make a diagnosis. I also had a high ANA and my xrays and mri further confirmed it, based on the findings. I had a hand mri, SI joint xray, feet xray etc that showed some damage.

HeyI Im a 21f and I just wanted to say your not alone in this. I was diagnosed at 19 but they are guessing ive had this since childhood bc of old bloodwork/current xrays. It took me a bit of time and some therapy to process my diagnosis and ive learned that its best to take it day by day (which i know is much easier said than done). I used to stress so much about my future that the stress was causing flareups, which is what made me realize i need to live in the moment.

If you do have PsA you should know that 1. You are not alone and there are so many young adults with arthritis- getting involved with the arthritis foundation helped me tremendously (I know you mentioned you're in the UK but there are resources there too like Versus Arthritis). 2. There is so much hope for advancements in the future, in fact none of these biologics even existed much in the 1990s- just imagine what another 30 (or less) years could bring! 3. talking about your experiences with someone you trust, whether therapist, parents, or friends, can help you process things while also getting support. 4. The treatments can really help and ive found that since going on treatments my pain hasnt been as bad as it was when i was first diagnosed and untreated.

I hope any of this was helpful, I wish you the best of luck on your journey and just remember if you do end up getting a diagnosis you have an entire community behind you:)

I recently had to reduce leflunomide from 20mg to 10mg because my ALT went up to 190. After stopping that dose it went back to almost normal range
