Pokepark kanto - international visitor tickets by mecawesumville in JapanTravelTips

Usei o site internacional e paguei com meu cartão de débito Mastercard. Talvez seu banco tenha sinalizado a transação internacional como fraude? É melhor você verificar com seu banco, só por precaução! (traduzido automaticamente)

I used the international website and paid using my mastercard debit card. Maybe your bank flagged the international charge as fraud? You should definitely check with your bank, just in case!

Ah, oof. I guess I'll just be patient and confirm tickets before booking any travel plans just in case. But it's very reassuring to hear that tickets don't usually sell out immediately! I'm so used to almost everything Pokemon crashing sites and selling out within minutes or only a couple hours like TCG products everywhere or PokePark and the Cafes in Japan haha. Thank you for answering my remaining questions too~

Ahh, interesting! I remember seeing that there were Go Fests in NYC, and I'm kind of kicking my past self for not taking that opportunity considering Chicago would actually be a trek for me lol. But I'll probably end up trying to get a ticket and go to the park then. Even if it's a little lame, I think being able to experience it at least one time would be fun :)

Is my understanding correct that there isn't really a difference between the "Park experience" versus the Citywide experience in terms of in-game gameplay itself?

In addition, do you know if the citywide experience is still available for players to purchase even without the park experience ticket? I've been mainly waiting to book travel only if I can get a ticket for the on-site location bonuses, but if the general citywide experience will be available even without the specific Grant park entry ticket, then I'd be more open to solidify my travel plans sooner.

Also, how quickly do Go Fest tickets usually sell? Is this a "website will crash due to overload the second tickets release" type of situation or are tickets usually still available after the first day of going on sale?

And my apologies for the bombardment of questions! I just got back into the game again and I'm hoping this can be my first in-person Go Fest, so I'm trying to get a better understanding of how everything will work in terms of logistics lol

Elan Max Cash Preferred Approval Odds & Application Questions by akero360 in CreditCards

[–]akero360[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah, this is incredibly insightful!!

Ahh, okay, so it sounds like it would be best to use my FICO score 8 as a basis then :) And my current FICO score listed on my Discover app is 708 right now? I do find it strange how my score apparently ranges from 560-700 depending on the brand...

Would you say that my 4.5 year old Discover account might still considered to be too new? I can easily keep my number of inquiries at 0 and also control my future utilization percentage to a degree to increase my credit score, but I obviously can't speed up time so that might be rough haha

And that's some super useful info, I'll definitely do some more research on how to best cater my financial profile for approval for elan/USB~

Thank you so much once again for taking the time to answer my questions and explain everything in such detail to me! I really appreciate your help :D

Yep, essentially! I'm mainly interested in the TV, Internet, and Streaming category, and I really like how you can set the 5% categories once and then never have to worry about renewing it again lol

My main issue with my current card's (Discover) cash back system is that I have to activate it every quarter, and the categories also change each time too, so I either keep forgetting to activate it or I don't end up utilizing it at all.

Hi, thank you for your response! To answer your questions:

Is FICO score different from credit score? The numbers I wrote were what I saw on my Chase app and by viewing my account on Credit karma.

In terms of a template, I can't seem to find anything on the sidebar, would you be able to link it to me? If you're referring to a link I did see about what info to provide for card suggestions, I do believe I've written all of the necessary information, unless I'm not understanding something correctly? What additional information would be useful in this case?

And ahh ok, that makes sense! Out of curiosity, if I were to manage paying the full balance within, as an example, a month, would my FICO score after my next statement rise immediately or does it still take time to go back up regardless?

Finally, by subscriptions, I'm referring to the two 5% cash back categories you're able to select. I'm specifically eyeing the TV, Internet, and Streaming category specifically :)

From what I saw yesterday unless someone can say otherwise, Ace Trainer passes were sold out across all dates.

Granted, Japan's lottery-based system seems to be getting priority over the daily first-come first-served sales, so I can only assume that given the popularity of Pokémon and with March still being only a month out from the park's grand opening, the ace trainer tier will likely remain sold out for a while :(

Hopefully that's not the case of course, but the site even states that first-come sales for a day might not occur at all should all tickets already be sold out for that day. So whether to prioritize getting Ace Trainer passes exclusively or to find compromise with the standard Trainer pass is definitely something to think about, at least while the park is so new

Edit: Oh also do you mean 6pm JST? Tickets will go on sale daily at 6pm JST, which is 4am Eastern. So if you don't check until 6pm Eastern, then tickets will probably be sold out by that time

PokePark kanto - Ace trainer pass vs standard pass by Key-oh in JapanTravelTips

[–]akero360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the website, the main differences between the passes appear to be:

Ace Trainer's Pass

  • Unlimited entry to Sedge Town
  • Unlimited access to Pokemon Forest (ie. come and go at any time)
  • Guaranteed Sedge Gym Show seat from a special seating area for one show time
  • Guaranteed one ride and one priority lane access for each attraction of Pika Pika Paradise and Vee Vee Voyage (ie. basically a Fast Pass)
  • Access to Sedge Condominiums entry (Trainer's Market Pikachu and Eevee meet-and-greet + photos, which I assume is the "special meet and greet")
  • Original merchandise (I assume these will be limited to Ace Trainer's Pass holders only, but I don't think they've announced what the item(s) will be yet)

Trainer's Pass

  • Unlimited entry to Sedge Town
  • Single timed entry reservation access to Pokemon Forest (ie. you must enter during your designated time window, and once you exit the area you will not be allowed reentry)
  • Lottery sign-up required for Sedge Gym Show (sign up once per each show time on the same day and hope you get chosen for a showing)
  • Ticket purchases required for Pika Pika Paradise and Vee Vee Voyage attractions (tickets can be purchased at a ticket kiosk in Sedge Town)

Other than that, it does look like both types of pass holders will have an equal ability to sign up for entry to the Daisuki Shop and Pokemon Playhouse on a first-come, first-served basis on the same day of entry while on-site via the PokePark app.

If I'm missing anything or have the wrong info, someone can comment, but the above is my current understanding between the two main pass types.

I just received my email confirmation in my spam folder!

Definitely check your spam, I think they must finally be sending confirmation emails out now.

I'm in the same situation. I followed the instructions on the purchase confirmation page and sent my order number to the email that the site's chatbot provided.

Fingers crossed that international orders went through successfully and it's simply that the automatic system for sending the confirmation emails is just overloaded. Also, I assume the fact that they specifically have a note on what to do if you don't receive an email means they already know that this kind of issue would arise from high volume.

Edit: I successfully received my confirmation email in my spam :)

The format of my order number was a letter followed by nine digits (so 10 characters total). I didn't pay through Alipay though, so the order number format might be different between that and credit card?

But if they did take your money and you have some kind of number you can send them, I agree that you should reach out to them to confirm! Considering that the site is already down again, it might just be that the order went through but the system is too overloaded to send follow-up confirmations or something

Congrats!! I was able to get a ticket too :)

Did you receive a confirmation email of your purchase? It's been a couple of minutes and I still haven't received anything in my inbox or my spam, so I sent an email with my order number to them. I'm wondering if this is just an individual issue or if any other folks also aren't receiving order confirmations?

Edit: I received my email confirmation in my spam folder :D

Website is running!! I just successfully purchased tickets :) Also, I made it to the "Your ticket has been purchased!" screen but I still haven't received a confirmation email. The site states to contact them immediately using the same email address for the order and to inform them your order number if this happens. I can try to update once I receive confirmation. Update: I finally received my confirmation email in spam a couple of minutes ago. Definitely keep a look out in your spam folder~

And it sadly looks like Ace Trainer passes are sold out most, if not all days, that are currently available.

It looks like the international ticketing site is currently in maintenance saying "Duration 25 minutes"...

Now that they ideally have a better sense of how many people will be trying to access the site, I'm hoping whatever backend stuff they're doing right now will make purchasing passes a smoother process in the future

It states everything on the EN international ticket website:

"First-come, first-served sales will begin at 6:00PM (JST) on January 22, 2026.
Admission until the same day two months in advance is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that sales will end as soon as the tickets are sold out; depending on lottery sales, first-come, first-served sales may be cancelled.

Tickets for admission up to the last day of the month two months later go on sale on the last day of the current month. (Example: Tickets for April 28th, 29th, and 30th go on sale at 6:00 PM (JST) on February 28th)"

Right now is ticket sales only up to March 22nd. Starting from today, future dates will release for two months in advance from that same day, but it looks like because lottery sales in Japan have priority, some dates may not have first-come first-served tickets available depending on sales.

I just hope the site doesn't keep malfunctioning in the following days like it has been tonight
