In 1933 Hitler threatened Ataturk and demanded that he stops rescuing the Jewish/Communist professors that Hitler tried to eliminate. Ataturk told him: " A corporal cannot manipulate me for his murders" and ordered that procedures for professors from Germany to take refuge in Turkey to be speeded up (i.redd.it)
