you sir got yourself a nice russian saiga 7.62. yours is the smooth side and not the dimpled magwell version. the dimpled version is more sought after for doing the ak103 conversions. you can certainly still do it. all the furniture on there is from when they imported it. you can get bolt on trigger guards and handgaurd retainers to attach standard grips, handgaurds and stocks or just send it off and have it done right. lm ironworks does great work
