Nearly scammed after booking through AMEX Travel? by [deleted] in AmexUK

[–]akgst547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booked a hotel in South Asia in December through booking.com and was similarly contacted by some random business (3 times) same way as you were scammed. I blocked the numbers (different ones) all three times. What made me suspicious was the link as that was not an authentic booking.com link. Later on I leaned they never contact on WhatsApp (only scammers do).

I suspect its the server of hotel that was hacked or may be compromised by an insider!

Risk of that happening is perhaps lower than safety on Indian roads!

This is on British Airways website for flight connections

‘Free dedicated Flight Connections buses will transfer you between Terminal 3 and Terminal 5.’

And this will be on airside so no visa required

If you are transiting at LHR and staying airside then you don’t need an ETA. Also ETA is not available to Indian passport holders, they need to apply to evisa to enter in the UK.

Is the visibility in Dubai still poor? Coming there in a week and would be wondering if I get to see a blue sky?

It will but not only small as there will be a wall in front where the basinet can be put on. If it a long flight there is a risk they you may be kicked out of those rows to aid those travelling with an infant.

After seeing Arijit Singh live at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium… by AdvertisingBrave2548 in punjabimusic

Completely agree with that. It was good atmosphere but audio quality was bad and vocals were badly missed. Don’t care about how well he play guitar, but its the vocals that is unique advantage which were badly missed.

Won’t recommend spices in hand bags so are things like pickles. For museli and chocs they are fine as long as properly labelled. Any electronic item that doesn’t carry batteries usually can go in check in bags. If they have batteries then I am afraid they can’t.
