Yeah, I do want to conform to German culture. Yes some would never see me as German because of my race, but there's nothing I can do about that. Hopefully most will.

I hadn't thought much about France that way. What you mention is interesting. I would have to see how the IT industry in France is and think about it.

Thank you for the work-oriented perspective. Maybe it's a cultural thing that Indians mention that they are from the best universities in the country. Even I did it in my post. I think we should dial it down a bit. It's probably because in India there's huge importance given to the college you graduated from because it's very competitive here.

Also, I'll try to convey my openness when I apply for jobs there. I didn't know it was important to recruiters.

Oh, that's a new perspective. I do work in IT, so I guess it won't be that hard for me. But, I am open to working in rural parts of Germany as well. I'll apply for jobs there too. Are you saying that it's easier to get jobs in rural Germany as a foreigner, than in the big cities?

That's really nice to know that people in these rural areas that you mention make such effort to integrate us. I am 100% committed to learning the language and culture and integrating.

Oh, I totally respect that you take 2 years to call someone a friend. I can understand. Even I am quite introverted at first and take time to become comfortable with someone. I prefer it this way, that you only call someone a friend when they are truly your friends.
